Review 1：We booked a triple, sea view room but we're allocated a double, sea view room which was smaller.

Review 2：The staff couldn't do enough for you in a polite, efficient and courteous manner. The excellent, decked spotlessly clean area around the pool and the beach bar facilities with comfy seats were very good. The food and wine were very good and the breakfasts were great with cooked breakfast, fruit , yoghurt and fresh Danish pastries and croissants cooked there at breakfast. We took the option a couple of days to pay extra (10 euros) for lunch, ( we were half board), and as much care and attention was lavished on preparing lunch as dinner. Cleaning staff were excellent, changing the towels and making beds every day. The bar and restaurant staff were cheerful and chatty if you wanted them to be, even though it was the end of a very busy season. All in all,a lovely, restful, child free holiday! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and stay at another Fergus hotel when we travel again as they are of an excellent standard.

Review 3：The lack of soundproofing meant that it was very noisy at night. You can hear footsteps above, toilets flushing and every door slam. Unfortunately I was above the bar too so noise traveled from there too.

Only WiFi is slower, than expected, couldn't talk on skype and viber, but it is very little problem. If I want to stay in Santa Susanna again, it is the only place I want to go!!!

Our windows were facing another hotel. Noise was also coming from a train line. You can't block the noise even when windows are closed. In our case, hotel staff refused to exchange the room to the one facing south/ camping site. Their argument was - they have no triple rooms on that side although on a hotel evacuation plan you can see that room 416 is exactly same size as the room on another side of a corridor. - no attractions / activities in the area. - 1 time replenishment of toiletries per 4 night visit - Wifi speed is 0.1 Mbps

We were a bit disappointed we couldn't get a south-orientated room because triple rooms are not available in that area. The staff was very helpful. Review 43：Food is average! We are both foodies and the reviews were excellent which helped us in our decision to book here. Food was bland, lots of packet made food. Even the special Catalan desert tasted from a packet. Always a good choice of food especially from the grill. However the chef didn't seem very good at cooking to order and always seemed in a flutter. The steak was dry and over cooked so asked him to do another one which was better but to be honest if we were served the food that was offer in a resturant I would walk out. Simple food should be easy to serve to the masses! Breakfast was always the same so was boring. Some nice smoothies would have been nice. Overall a nice hotel but food is not up to the same level. Ps if you like pizza, frozen fish fingers and chips you'll love the food!

Review 55：We visited in autumn, so the nearby campsite was closed. It was quiet, calm and had lovely views, which could be appreciated from the huge terrace with comfortable lounge chairs. The food was correct, buffet-style, so there's always something you like. Personnel helpful and smiling. We didn't have time to try out the spa facilities, maybe next time?

Review 62：Queuing for coffee and juice at breakfast is exasperating. For the size of this hotel, it needs two machines not one. Also, the juice dispenser is next to the coffee machine. Hence, if you only need a cold drink from the dispenser, you have to queue with people for coffee. It should be seperated in another area or further away from coffee, so that people can form a seperate queue.

The interior is very beautiful in white and purple colors and what is more important is that it is brand new. Also I want to mention that there are not so many rooms in the hotel, so the number of people is quite small and it is very good! The rooms is very comfortable and bright. I love the terrace with sea view, it is perfect! The SPA is really nice and clean. I also want to gratitude the personnel, they are on a top level: very friendly, helpful and informative! Cuisine is very tasty! I like restaurant area, it is big, clean and cozy. Santa Susanna is nice city, so many places to go for the entertainment in the evening. If I have chances I will return to this perfect hotel!

Review 74：Dining room could be given a bit more ambiance, very brightly lit and tables too close together. As a four star superior rated hotel it should have dress code for dinner. Men should be requested to wear trousers not shorts. As my husband is a wheelchair user would not recommend the trains as it is pot luck whether you get one with a ramp which we did not and my husband and chair had to be lifted on and off which was frightening. Good if you are able bodied.

Review 81：I first visited this hotel at the start of November last year on a quiet family retreat. I liked it so much that I went back again a week and a half ago. It was exactly what I wanted on both of these occasions.The hotel is in a good location. It is 5 minutes walk from the railway station. You can catch a train from here to Barcelona for less than 8 euros. It only takes an hour to get there and it’s a lovely journey, most of it is along the coast, so you get a nice sea view.The hotel has got a modern, contemporary look about it. I like that it looks immaculately clean all the time. The rooms are nice and a decent size and the shower is pretty good as well. It’s a walk in shower, with a massive shower head. The balcony is nice and spacious with a nice, big comfy sofa.There are a lot of fun things to do to at this Hotel. On the Friday night of our stay this time, there were cocktail making classes at the bar. I got to make two cocktails. I am not the most co-ordinated of people, but the bar staff were patient with me! I thought it was a fantastic idea, I always wanted to go to a cocktail making class in London, but they are normally so expensive that I never bothered.The bar was amazing on Saturday night as well. There was a singer/musician, who was singing songs by Oasis, Kings of Leon, Bruno Mars and many more. He was actually really good and got all the guests involved. It was such a good atmosphere and we even made friends with some of the other guests.The hotel also has a beach bar called the Ahlegria Sea club. I don’t think it’s part of the all-inclusive deal. It has a different menu for food and drink. However, its really nice to go to. The hotel has themed parties there quite regularly.Regarding food, I have been to many Spanish all-inclusive hotels and this is by far the best I have been to as yet. The food here is fresh and well seasoned. It’s more like restaurant food rather than Spanish all inclusive.

Review 82：Air conditioning did not work well in the room (it would turn off after a couple of minutes) We asked the front desk to fix 3 times and each time they assured us they would but they did not. Very hard to sleep.

Review 84：When we arrived to the hotel from the train station which is around 10min from, the staff offered us a glass of local cava or water to catch the breath. The hotel was in front of the beach, very clean, tidy, modern and everywhere were working conditioners. When we arrived to the room it was bright with a big terrace and a sea view from a side. Bathroom had a big shower. Towels, soaps, shampoos, shaver and etc. were included, just for the beach towels we had to leave a 10eur deposit, which you get back after a check-out. The dinner was nice, it had a normal variety of food. Further more, every girl/woman got a red rose and there was a live concert with a piano. Perfect for couples which are seeking for quite hotel without a children.

Review 91：-We organised a pick up shuttle service via the hotel at Barcelona airport. We were given a reservation code and the driver was supposed to be at arrival. There was no one there at arrival. We called the hotel and their "Reception Service" was closed between 1pm and 3.30pm which meant they could not tell us if they had booked it or not. We had to get a taxi for 136 euros.At arrival they looked confused and did not apologise, even though I showed the e-mail they had sent and they admitted to it. They said the shuttle company was problematic. They said they would look into it but never came back even though we asked twice during our stay. What a start in a foreign country! They are the ones offering the shuttle on their web reservation - it doesn't exist!!- When we booked it for the return the receptionist said OK and they would advise us. This was the day before. During breakfast we checked and a different receptionist said we should have reserved it 24 hours ahead...even though the other receptionist said he would sort it out. So another taxi...120 euros this time.WHEN YOU BOOK THIS hotel, unless you have a rent a car...add 300 euros to the cost. Getting there by train is 3 hours from the airport if not. Don't trust their shuttle service as its doesn't exist.- Staff in Reception don't speak Spanish (in Spain). Their English is broken also (or just terrible). You will be OK with Russian!- Reception staff have no idea about anything except the basics. Terrible.- The "spa" is a joke! A small bathtub with a turkish sauna. Its so small that when you arrive they "recommend" you book a place. The fact is...you can't get in without a reservation even when the place is empty at times.- The swimming pool outside is tiny.- There are insufficient sunbeds and sun umbrellas.

Review 94：What can I say about this hotel other than it was fantastic! Loved the modern decor. The room was so comfortable, light and airy. The beds were a dream to sleep in. The bathroom was stunning with toiletries replenished daily. The breakfast was amazing, with so much variety. I had dinner only once but it was fabulous, and again with a good variety on offer. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I was in room 310, which had an amazing sea view. Would certainly book to go again and recommend it to all my friends and family.
