Blanco y Negro Apartments sells fast on our site. The Blanco y Negro Apartments are situated in the quiet beach resort of Es Cana, 15.5 miles north of Ibiza Town. They have free WiFi in public areas.
All apartments are fitted with a fully equipped kitchen including an oven and a fridge, while the studios do not have a kitchen but are fitted with a mini fridge, a microwave and a kettle. Review 1：This apartment is a disgrace! We were booked to stay here for four nights as part of my 40th birthday celebratory trip, but we only made it for one night, and that was only because it was too late to change. We arrived to check in at 2pm. The receptionist gave us the key and was in quite a hurry a close up for the weekend, so we checked in with our paperwork and she locked up and left. We found our own way to the apartment and were horrified with what we found! The place was a tip! The balcony had an amazing sea view, but the ‘cleaners’ had literally poured a bucket of water over the balcony and left. There was a filthy mop, dirty paint-stained chairs and loads of clutter.Inside was no better, we had arrived during a cold spell on the island and the place was cold and very damp! We tried to turn on the heating but found that we would need the remote for the air conditioner to use it and this was available at the now closed for the weekend reception for an additional 10 Euros per night (similarly the ‘help’ sheet recommended using the safe box, at 3 euros per day plus a 10euro deposit. Sadly we could not take advantage of this ‘offer’ as the reception had closed for the weekend. Pointless).The next morning all our clothes felt damp, even those we had packed, as did the bedding. The blankets stank of damp dirtyness, like a wet dog. Since that night I have been coughing and sneezing...The bathroom was too filthy and unhygienic to use and the toilet had a lovely welcome present in it. There was a dead cockroach on the floor and the shower curtain looked like it was about to walk away on it’s own!The carpets (!) were covered in several large and random stains, the kitchen sink was full of what I can only imagine to be mop-bucket waste.When we saw the TV with a Sky box we thought that’s too good to be true. Sadly, it was, as the box did not have a card, and so did not work.

Review 5：The appartment and invertary wasn't clean at all. Big dirty spots on the floor, greasy and poor kitchen equipment. The seaview was a bit disapointing because of the roof beneath the balcony of the chinese restaurant.
Review 6：The location was nice, near the (rocky) beach and in beautiful Es Canar. The staff was helpfull and friendly.
Review 7：Filthy carpets, and I mean really stained, yuck, those floors need to be tiled. Never ever been charged for aircon and stayed all over the world. a 200 bhat thai hotel does not charge! No table lamp...Have to get out of bed to turn light off.

Review 9：Stained carpet, unkept rooms, new towels every 4 days so we were forced to dry ourselves with sandy beach towels, lights in the bedroom were not working for three days, dirty and old bathroom. Sheets changed only once in the week. Unable to use to use the TV as there were two plugs for one socket - had to purchase an adaptor myself.

Review 11：Our shower did not work on the sat when we arrived. We contacted reception on the Sunday and were given a key to use another apartment 4 doors away(not ideal especially when the access is via the terrace). We were asked to return the key the next day but our shower was not fixed until the Tuesday, on the Wednesday the water in the building stopped working just as we returned from the pool. We were compensated 100e for this on the last day after we complained, and complained and complained but the level of customer service was very poor and I would not recommend these apartments because of it.
Review 12：The rooms were a good size.
Review 13：There was not an iron provided and if one was required there was a charge. In hotels irons and hair dryers are provided free of charge! Cleanliness was also fairly bad particularly in the bathroom where stains where found in the tub, sink and toilet. This could b improved. As Spain is a hot country air conditioning should be free I think charging 10euros a day is a money making thing. The air conditioning is only in the livingroom so the bedrooms are fairly hot making it difficult to sleep, but hey a fan is provided.

Review 15：Leaking air con. Smelly shower. No kitchen. Horrible beds. No maid service. No replacement towels. Shower was never hot and it smelt. Wifi didn't work.

Review 17：The extra charges for basic stuff like air con and towels,the dismissive attitude of the office staff when looking for information, we were without water for one of the days while the couple next door hadn't water for 4 days and had company of cockroaches

Review 19：Hygiene wasn't terrible but the floor felt dirty all the time. Needed more than 1 fresh dishcloth in 2 weeks and the bathroomcloset was filled with dead cockroaches.
Review 20：The apartment was big and had a very long balcony. It wasn't the superior suite so it wasn't the huge balcony on the front of the apartments but it still had a very nice balcony. :) The apartment had all the basics you need. If you stay at Blanco y Negro you get to go to the Jacaranda Lounge. Which is an awesome pool. If it wasn't for the pool, I would be less happy. The pool made it all very good :)

Review 22：Good clean apartments and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment had freeview so having the English channels on the TV was a definite bonus. Jacaranda Beach Bar was also great. Will definitely stay here again when we next come to in Ibiza.
Review 23：It was advertised as recently refurbished. It wasn't even finished. There was no door on the bathroom and no blind or curtain on ths window.We arrived at about 2pm and they dididn't mention that the room wasn't finished. We had to wait until 6pm until the door was put on . Then it stuck and we had to get it fixed. A blind was put on the window and it only covered half of the window. The lady in the office wasn't very nice or apologetic. She wouldn't give another room when I asked. There was also building dust everywhere. Very noisy. Definitely wouldn't stay there again.

Review 25：I felt very disappointed, the pictures are not taken at the blanco y negro they are taken at the jacaranda lounge, all of which is irrelevant as the pool area wasn't open in either the apartments or the JL which I feel we should have been told. The wifi is off more than its on, the TV didn't work, Infact the whole place shouldn't have been open and again I feel we should have been given the choice

Review 27：You enter the ground floor apartments via french doors at the front into the lounge. At the rear of the lounge to one side is a very small kitchenette tucked away in a corner. Through the centre rear of the lounge is the bedroom (two mismatched, not so comfortable single beds). Through the rear of the bedroom is the washbasin. Here there is a connecting door to the apartment at the rear through which you can hear quite clearly your neighbours. Off of this room is the bathroom with wc. The only daylight in this whole apartment is through the french doors at the front. No other natural light. In the bedroom there is a vent through which you can hear your neighbors conversations etc..Although the apartment is spacious the overall feeling is gloomy. The furniture is old and there is damp in the wardrobe. Repairs are needed and not carried out even after reporting them. No4 was worse than No3. OK for a budget holiday as long as you know what you are getting.
Review 28：A stones throw from the beach these apartments are tucked away off the road behind a Chinese restaurant so a little quieter than being on the road. Naomi in the office was very nice and helpful. We stayed in 3 different apartments over 10 days. No4 & No3 see negatives, and No12 which was light, airy, nice kitchen well appointed rooms with comfortable double bed. Balcony overlooking sea, lovely views.We paid only 20 euros a night for the ground floor apartments and 35 pn for the first floor which represented extremely good value. Make sure when booking you know which apartment you will be getting. There is such a huge disparity between the ground floor apartments and the first floor you may feel misled and disappointed after seeing some of the photographs. Would highly recommend first floor apartments. Use of the nearby pool is nice but may be charged at different times of the year. Lovely resort with lots of restaurants, shops etc.

Review 30：The aptments although basic are ideal after all who want to cook on holiday! The "free" sunbeds at the exquist pool area were a bonus and relaxing with your own waiter. There was someone in the office to deal with any questions. It is at the other end of Es Cana which we haven't explored before. You could access the pool from the beach or the road so safe for kids back and forth. The views from terrace we splendid and value for money is excellent, especially as we had our towels changed 3 times in a week

Review 34：Location of blanc y negro was ideal for both beach , local shops and restaurants. Free use of the Jacaranda pool/beach sunbeds saved us about 12 Euros each day. The apartment was basic but that was what we paid for, there are better apartments at blanc y negro. Naomi was a very good host, friendly and helpfull.

Review 37：The apartment was in a perfect location to many beaches and bus services. We spent 3 nights here and the apartment was much bigger than expected with a sea view and all kitchen facilities, comfy bed and lounge area with sky tv. All very clean and with a nice balcony area. Naomi on reception was helpful and welcoming, the reception is a small office space where you check in, it wasn't that clear, just a small name on the poster in the door but es Cana is a small place so not too difficult to find, we asked and someone showed us straight away! Was really pleased with everything and would stay there again on the next visit!

Review 39：Our apartment had no windows whatsoever, it was a bit like living in a garage. The facilities are quite old (the whole thing was probably built in the 80s). It was a bit difficult to sleep at night and we had to leave the door open and unlocked to let the fresh air into the room - doesn't help to sleep well (A/C remote control was 10 € per day). If you get an apartment, make sure it's the one on the first floor, not the ground floor one (it'd be so much different).

Review 42：Location was next to beach and the Jacaranda Beach Club which had a lovely pool with a swim up bar and music all day. Sun beds were 5€ each to those staying at this property. Staff at reception were very helpful. Lots of bars and restaurants reasonably priced nearby.
Review 43：If you happen to arrive late at night , you will be in trouble findingthe apartment, as there is no indication. No reception at all. Cleaningwas something outrageous of these rooms. In the kitchen there were nobasic facilities, not even to wash the plates. We expected a smallliving room, as it was stated in the above description ( all apartmentshave a living room) it is quite misleading. And last but not least, atthe end we only stayed 4 nights instead of 14. we spent 250 euros. Andit would have been 700 euros for 14 days. Review 44：All was awful. We were in the economic room and it was absolutely not like the pictures and description. Coackroaches under the beds, in the bathroom. Bed absolutely not confortable, even slipping on the floor is better. Not safe. Dont' go there !!!

Review 46：To sum up our experiences: we found a dead cockroach in our suitcase when we came back home. Yes, there were some cockroaches in the room, most of them already dead, but still they're cockroaches. Another thing is the view. Judging from the pictures, we expected a nice view to the seaside, what we got was a room with a terrace overlooking a white wall. It was quite peaceful though and we could hear the waves all the time.

Review 87：The sea view was lovely as was the balcony. Very comfortable, spacious and clean and the receptionist was lovely, very helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely too, I used to come here when it was the Zodiac Pool and it is so much better now, very comfortable sun beds and relaxing music.
Review 88：not so much as didnt like, but the mattresses on the bed need updating, i slept o.k., but there was a big dip in the middle of my single bed, furniture was clean, but could do with an update, but how much time do you spend in the appartment, the balcony more than made up for that and 2 sunbeds and a table 4 chairs and an umberella on the patio, fab. definitley going again.
