Review 1：The food was truly awful. There was a lot to choose from but it was such poor quality that it was just a complete waste. I tried various dishes but each one was as bad as the first. Easily the worst food I have had at a hotel, in fact difficult to think of any eating establishment that bad.

Review 7：Heavy Smokers on the next balcony.,we had to close the door and there was cigarette ash blown on to the balcony furniture.It should be possible to make Premium Rooms on floor 5 completely NO SMOKING and put all smokers togther on another floor,on one wing!

Was told to call back in afternoon but left it a day but still no joy gave up on the iron, Think I will donate one next time, Very disappointed !! Surprised that a Aqua Hotel had only one iron Not much vegetarian options no soya, or quorn alternatives to meat or fish. Seems like you get free breakfast, but still they charge if you choose full or half board which does not make sense, would be better as All inclusive

Review 12：Nice location, friendly staff, had a few issues which were resolved quick and efficiently and most importantly with a smile. Front desk staff Marta and her boss fantastic both ladies went out there way to help

Review 21：Hotel in a good quiet location on the beach front (7 minute walk). The property itself is modern and attractive with very helpful and efficient staff. The cleanliness of the property second to none. Easy access to "town centre" (10 minute stroll) I would also add that I think this is the best hotel in the resort having seen a few others whilst out on vacation

Review 24：Superior room offers a free wifi usage which we found fast enough however only one device is allowed to be connected at the same time which is a bit annoying. Usage of cabinets in the fitness/wellness area is not free of charge, €1 on a top of the deposit.

Review 25：Superior room is a good choice; it is spacious with a balcony with beautiful panorama to the sea and the pool. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of different foods for choice. Animators pay attention for the children and entertain the guests around the pool. Location of the hotel is quite good. It is closed to the train station and the beach at the south part of the city. The centre is just a 5-10 minues walk but it is still quiet during evenings and nights.

The spa facilities are so good & even though I didn't have children & had read some reviews saying wasn't so good for kids don't understand as there was a kids club for most age groups also a wee pool for babies. Had I taken my daughter she would have loved it. If you want to go to Barcelona the train is super & cheaper than bus. Also late trains back too

Review 29：Sun loungers and parasols being reserved all day by guests and not being used. Rules should be changed. Prebooking should not be allowed until person is ready to use them.

Review 31：1. Wifi free only in the lobby, just for one device and you need to require for a password. So if you have a double room for two guests, you can not sit on the Internet at the same time.2. Paid Wifi in the rooms is available for a 4EUR day or 12EUR per week, also for one device. 3. Safe. In-room safe is present, but does not have the lock. You have to require a lock on reception together with a key for 10EUR/week. 4. Halfboard. Meals can be taken freely but have to pay for the drinks. I refer it because it may be a news for someone. Forced to pay immediately. Even there is no water. For breakfast - coffee / water / juices - the price includes, but not for dinner. 5. Teapot in the room, boiler in the hall - forget about it. Teapot for tea can be purchased at the bar 1EUR. Ironically, that the Aqua Hotel has no water. 6. Only two sockets in the room, one of them is in the bathroom. Those who have weak batteries, better stock up on the tee. 7. only the balcony door is soundproofed. Through the entrance you can hear someone shuffling along the corridor. Can be a problem if neighbors are noisy 8. The TV with loud advertising switches on every time you come into the room. It is superfluous and annoying. 9. Fences between balconies is little. If you lean out, in addition to the balconies of nearby housing you will see the sea ... and the neighbors. No roof on the balcony 10. Computers that standing at the bottom are out of date. Through ticket reservation services does not work on them.

Review 32：1. Blackout curtains.2. Next to the beach. 3. Breakfast buffet is really diverse. A lot of things, salads, hot and desserts. Breakfast includes various pastries, cereal, breakfast for children, eggs, sweets. 4. The staff spoke English and some in Russian. 5. On the balcony there is a dryer, it is not necessary to pull the rope between the railings. 6. Free show. 7. Free print your boarding pass if you are able to check in, of course. 8. Brand new billiard tables (2e - party) and generally not a bad game room.

Review 35：Wifi costs 7Euros per week for ONE device, mini bar has to be prepaid, pool towels cost 1 Euro per piece every time you exchange for clean ones, indoor pool, spa and gym cost 6 Euros per person per visit, hotel room safe cost 20+ Euros for one week, well, you get the point. This hotel charges their guests for the most basic amenities that are usually provided for free by most hotels. I understand that they need to make money and nothing is for free in this world. But how about giving your guests free wifi at the very least?

Review 36：Courteous and helpful staff, big swimming pool, decent lunch and dinner buffet with adequate options, across the street from the train station, easy beach access, a surprisingly well equipped gym and Santa Susanna is a pleasant little town.

Review 37：Cost of drinks... Also lunch and dinner doesn't include any drinks at all. Food was also quite heavily repeating itself (I was there 9 nights). On last dinner, I didn't receive full exchange for paid drink (she returned me coins, but never came back for 5€).

Review 44：Nice 4 stars in a quiet location near the sea. We were given a better room than booked. Great pool area. Excellent personnel. The guests are mostly German and English-speaking (US, UK). Close to La Roca outlet village. Anyway recommended.

Review 47：Deserts at dinner were too similar and repetitive. Food was also bland on a few occasions, despite there being a wide choice. The hotel could do with one or two themed evenings to add variety. Also, the Aqua Group should consider not allowing large parties of boys' 5 a-side-football teams to roam free in the hotel in the evening without proper supervision. This spoils the enjoyment of the facilities for other guests. They were too noisy and annoyed more than a few guests, including me as I was coming out of a lift with luggage. The Aqua Onobrava is meant to be a 4 star hotel, not a Butlins, Warners or Haven holiday camp.

Review 52：The worst service that I have ever received in Spain, from the sour faced staff at reception to the hotel manager, absolute incompetence. Nothing appeared to be working, the carpark gate, the WIFI the room keys or the credit card facilities. Four trips to reception trying to get things working with little success, there were 3 of us in 2 rooms, and the hotel only provides WIFI for 1 device. At checkout they were not sure if the bill was paid, even after I produced the receipt, so the hotel manager asked me if they can take a photocopy of my creditcard just in case, my response was blunt.

Review 56：limited plug sockets in room (2), only 3 english channels on tv, 2 of which were news, 1 sport. Area bland, not much to do for more than a couple of days. No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Very noisy hotel with lots of children.

Review 58：I mean that children under 16 (or was it 13?), together with their parents - they could use everything in spa-treatments. Our children in 10 and 12 years were not allowed to follow us so they had to stay in the pool when we took spatreatments togheter with son on 16. The floor in our room was not cleaned - we think that especially in bathroom - you have to clean the floor every day.
