Review 2：Friendly, attentive staff who made a special effort to help celebrate my birthday. Excellent, top quality restaurant with excellent wines, all at reasonable prices. Quiet location. Spacious, smart, modern bedroom.

Review 3：Location of hotel in the middle of town and the convenience of parking. I liked the modern comforts inside the hotel and the attractive old character of the outside. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Review 4：Staff are generally disinterested in guests, especially the head waiter in the evening. However, there are exceptions, such as the young lady who checked us out at departure, who was professional, helpful, and friendly.

Review 6：Looking at the Booking.com website, one thinks that all rooms are located in a very old traditional house; but in fact, mots are located in a modern addition, and we had to pay extra for a room in the old part with plaza view- this should be indicated in the website. The style of the furniture is neither traditional nor according to modern design, but OK. The restaurant, like most in this small town, closes the kitchen already at 21:30.

Review 9：The Hotel is in an excellent location and all staff were very welcoming. The Hotel was extremely clean and the breakfast was very good. I dined at the Hotel throughput my stay and the food was well presented and enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.

Review 10：We had room 228. The problem with this room is that it is on the side of the hotel and close to the access point for lorries and vans entering the pedestrian area. Very noisy around 7 in the morning. this is not the hotels fault but ask for another room if you sleep in late.

Review 45：There was no air conditioning and so the room was too hot. The double glazing did not stop us being woken at 5:30 every morning by delivery vans etc. so we had very little sleep. Breakfast wasn't as varied as hoped. No free internet in room.

Review 46：the hotel room was very comfortable, with a large bed and enormous pillows. the room was fairly spacious, with a separate sofa and table to one side. The bathroom shower was powerful.

Review 47：The only drawback applies equally to many public places in Germany; although smoking is restricted to the bar the smell could sometimes be felt outside the enclosed area, and of course the bar was unpleasant for non-smokers to use at times.

Review 53：how the room was set out. There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room which is essential in a 4 star hotel. A steam room would be more beneficial than a sauna. A bath in the room with a shower over it to give you the option would of been nice.

They even let us stay a little longer in the garage to visit the town the day we left. The hotel is located in the centre of the town, the rooms are specious. Breakfast is perfect. A hotel to go back as Wernigerode is beautifull..
