Review 1：We were put in two rooms at thetop of the hotel with limited visibilityoutside, my shower and wash basin did not have hot water, when Icomplained I was told it was fixed but it wasn't and the hot waterjust trickled for 2 minutes then nothing, was not happy about this, if Ireturn to Wernigerode I will find another place to stay.

Review 7：The hotel is in a perfect location to explore the town. My room was very clean and comfortable and provided the perfect place to stay over the Christmas period. On my arrival I received warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I ate breakfast at the sister Hotel a short walk away and all the meals were excellent, including the Christmas Eve Buffet. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rathaus Hotel - Thank you.

Review 13：Location, staff, service, everything! I've stayed quite a lot 4 or 5 star hotels. But this 3 star hotel still impressed me a lot! Highly recommended.

Review 14：Wi-fi does not penetrate into this upper floor bedrooms. The entrance and stairs were a bit narrow and carpet was understandably soiled through frequent usage. Choose a good restaurant and definitely not the Italian one that we selected which caused a stomach upset to two of our party (name of offending resto not known but turn left outside hotel, then first right, then first left and on the next corner on the right - AVOID!)

Review 15：Situated in the centre of Wernigerode this small hotel was welcoming and clean. We had three flights of stairs to climb in order to access our rooms but, once there, accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean. The owner happily looked after our baggage after check out whilst we took a ride on the fantastic Harzer schmalspurbahn network. Downstairs cafe does a good fruhstuck at 8.95 euros but the big one in the square is even better at 6.95 euros)

Review 21：Right in the center of town, by the pedestrian street. A good breakfast buffet at a fair price at the other hotel by the same owners, 400 m walking. You can't drive up to the hotel, find a parking space and walk the last 400 meters or so.

Nice fresh fruit in the room was a welcoming touch and the view onto the street was very nice.
