Review 1：Outdated furniture. Bathroom products (bring your own). Not much to do in the area (need a car)

Review 2：Extremely friendly staff, very professional. Nice clean hotel. Very big hotel, but still personal and relaxing. Nice clean rooms. Nice buffet food, with a lot of variety.

Review 3：The room was given to us unfinished, towels and bathrobe were missing, unfortunately when the towels were brought to the room 2 of them were stained & dirty. The restaurants have a buffet which rotates menu every day on a weekly cycle, there are a few choices but unfortunately the quality is average and most of it with strange sauces. The pools are very nice but unfortunately the "No reservation of sunbeds with towels" policy is not enforced and some people occupy the sunbeds all day without really using them.

Review 6：Although the Hotel was full the buffet restaurant was very organised and efficient- staff were superb and very friendly from check in to check out. We never had any problems in finding a sunbed at any time of day, again all credit to the lifeguards who ensured no one reserved them.

Review 14：Dinner used to be much more exquisite, with prawns and serrano ham as a fixed choice each evening. This time round, they had 'theme' nights and quality of food has gone down a notch. Bedroom wasn't thouroughly cleaned as found same spot of dust 2 days in a row! Also, had to ask for bathroom toiletries and towels each day as not refilled.

Come on, in such big hotel at least one fast food restaurant must be available for the guest to spend the time into the hotel, there is no sense at all you can no find food into the hotel beyond 21:30, even more when there are no many food offer around...

In comparison to 2002 (opening), this hotel is now lacking staff, the "quality" of guests has not improved and the flexibility of service is unfortunately also worse now than before. Also no pool staff. Friendliness and interest of staff in hotel shops is almost a desaster.

Review 38：Friendly staff, big and well maintained territory with two pools and pleasant way to the ocean. Beach is fantastic - never thought the ocean could be so warm (24 C in august). It is also pretty calm for the ocean, don't be afraid to take little children to swim, near-shore water is shallow. Food is fantastic, many seafood, always everyday - andalusian menu - that is interesting to try something local like gaspacho. Guests in the hotel - mainly spanish families with children, there were a very few germans, no britishes, no russians, we had to learn spanish :)

Review 39：lack of choice of evening quisine for such a huge hotel (options were expensive) and a total bun fight for breakfast - quite a stressful experience. water aerobics and gym classes by pool irritating with such load music.

Review 41：There was literally only one area we must fault and that is fitness. The gym is tiny, no music or TV and the 6 machines are antiquated, rusty, impossible to adjust and one didn't work at all. We found it incredible that a hotel with such high standards elsewhere was so poor in this one area. Outside there is a dance/exercise floor but the only classes being run were Zoomba and Aqua Zoomba, both attracting only ladies. Why no aerobics, circuits, boot camp, or any other fitness class? With a serious rethink in the fitness provision, the hotel would be 100% perfect.

Review 85：Upon arriving the reception upgraded us to a bigger room as it was our first visit to the Valentin Hotel, the hotel is very big and very clean, the bar and resturant prices were very goog for a 4 star beach hotel, the staff didnt speak much english as the guests are mainly spanish or German but they spoke english at the reception. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was fantastic with so much to choose from. The swimming pools are great the outside pool is large and clean and the inside pool is great for later on in the day or during cold seasons. i cannot complain, we had a fab 6 days there.

Review 91：Reference for 4star holidays hotels - just go thereI have come to Sancti Petri as an emergency visit after horrible 2 days stay at another hotel. It was 4 of us (family with 2 kids). And well…First of all it is hard to describe this hotel experience with simple 4star description.And there is why:- Reception area and in general all corridors and public places area including public toilets – it is DEFINITELY 5 star experience, similar I experienced in some corporate trips when staying at Marriot, Hilton, Barceló, Sheraton, no doubt, with its extremely spacious surfaces, floors made of mirror polished stones, botanic areas (if you walk just straight from reception to left or right then you literally pass indoor botanic gardens with lot o beautifully cared tropical plants 3 stores high), pool areas, external pavements areas accompanied by very well, beautifully maintained garden areas and seamlessly connected with astonishing Atlantic Ocean well preserved wild sandy beach 8km long.- It is a design hotel experience, and it starts from foyer, goes thru gardens, through materials and furniture selected, designed, placed, there is almost no design accidents over entire hotel, (maybe the flayers about events are a bit poor designed – windows 98 style), all décor is pleasant, well chosen, relaxing with a lot of stress for large surface and calming positive experience. Even positioning of the hotel towards a beach, pavement thru tropical garden to the beach and positioning towards sun position is excellent with its majestic huge cubature (550 rooms) over the beach but preserving respectful distance to the natural dunes- Room I had was very clean and spacious, with nice furniture, bit worn but still OK, very tasteful and practical far in plus from typical 4star holidays experience.
