Review 1：Absolutely nothing, 2 nights turned into six. That says it all!!

Review 2：Everything!! It is a great place to stay, kind and great owners, beautifull place, super service, good breakfast (gluten free was not a problem).

Review 4：Richard and Amanda are hosts with the most ! Super informative about the area, warm, friendly and funny. Immaculate rooms, air con, and the best scrambled eggs ever !! Location wise your just out of the thick of it, top of the hill drive down into the centre of busy fuengerola. In a quiet residential area, private mature gardens, nice pool, adorable dogs, handy drinks to buy on site and Amanda keeps it spotless. Will come back again!!

Review 5：Based on high tank on Booking we decided to stay at Ricanda and it was a bad choice. Our Room was full of insects all over the place. The proprietor gave us chemicals to dustribute in the room and bathrooms, with no positive effect- they were all over the place and in our luggage and beds. Room had not full window - IT was not possibile to close it at all (as it was only half window, half mosquitiera), this was also giving no privacy at all. After sleepless night we asked proprietor to change the room due to improper sanitary conditions, and we were refused (fully booked) and finally we claimed money back for the second night. We were forced to change our trip plans and had to look for another place to sleep. Do not book standard twin room there, it should not be sold to customers at all! Last but not least, there was no receipt for the price that we paid for overnight.....

Review 6：Just that there were no restaurants etc within walking distance for the more elderly at least,Glad we had taken some sándwiches ! Beds a Little on the small size, but I am very tall.

Review 12：This is the perfect place to relax and be spoiled by the hosting couple! Villa Ricanda is beautiful place with very comfortable and beautiful decorated rooms, and a lovely garden. Richard and Amanda gives excellent service, and this is not the last time we have been to Villa Ricanda.

Review 14：Big and clean rooms, connecting door to chidlren´s room, á la carte breakfast outside on a big terrasse, cultivated garden with pool, children supporting program: fish feeding in a small pond, mini bar service for drinks at an excellent price. It was a pity that we had to leave after 4 nigths!

Review 15：The location was quiet, peaceful and restful. However, if you were looking for lots of nearby bars or restaurants, then these were a short car ride away. Too far to walk. Although there was one sports bar within the vicinity, a 10 minute walk away.

Review 16：The hosts, Richard and Amanda were really excellent. They gave a personal welcome, not only when I arrived but throughout the 6 days I was there. Richard personally brought the excellent breakfast to the various tables every morning and made everyone feel very welcome. A great personal touch, which is missing these days and is non -existent in large hotels. The rooms were immaculate, and very spacious. Constant hot water was available (rare in Spain) and air conditioning that worked (again, rare in Spain). Really excellent value for money, with a professional personal touch. Made even better by the fact they have only been going about 4 or 5 months in the business, yet came across as experienced experts.Well done to them both.

Richard and Amanda are fantastic hosts and you are made to feel very welcome as soon as you arrive and throughout your stay at their beautiful villa. Villa Ricanda is simply beautiful, the rooms are spotless and very light and airy. The Villa is set in a stunning large garden which has lots of mature trees and wonderful plants as well as a great sized swimming pool. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast itself was done to a very high standard and it really set you up for the day. Review 31：We only stayed one night prior to moving on to our booked resort for the week. However, once we got to our resort we wished we had stayed at Villa Ricanda for the full holiday. The facilities are superb, but this is hugely overshadowed by the exceptional welcome and service received from Richard and Amanda. Their attention to detail is second to none and they provide a very personal service at a level which we have not experienced anywhere else in our extensive travels of Europe. Anyone visiting Richard and Amanda will enjoy an extremely comfortable, relaxing stay - unobtrusive hosts whom you will want to keep as your long-term friends after your stay. On our return journey home, we were kindly invited back to the Villa for coffee and chat before our flight back to England. This exemplifies the high level of service and care that these hosts offer. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Villa Ricanda for either a short or long-term stay. Whatever the size of your group, you will be accommodated, with the highest level of friendly service and you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!

Review 33：Location is quiet in residential area, but with private grounds to sit in the sun and while away the time. Close enough for everything but without the noise and crowds. Excellent accommodation recently completed to high standard. Richard joint proprietor made sure everything was as it should be and all the guests introduced. A lovely b&b and very clean and comfortable. 5 star.Will recommend and will be back.

Review 36：We only spent one night at Villa Ricanda but if time had permitted we would have stayed a lot longer. The room we had was delightful, very clean with a comfortable bed and overlooked the pool and beautiful garden. We had our breakfast out on the terrace enjoying the morning sun. It was obvious that a lot of care and attention has been paid to making guests feel at home and very comfortable enabling them to relax in the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle on the beachfront.

Review 40：A part of me is reluctant to enthuse as much as I should about the experience of visiting Villa Ricanda - as I want to keep it as a secret, feeling sure that if it gets there will be permanent unavailability of rooms! But I have to give credit where due and no more so deservedly than here. The value for money is incredible, and the hosts are exceptional. They are warm, welcoming, attentive when required, but sensitive and discrete always; so just there when you need them. They are so helpful and flexible and have thought of all the little touches from a consumer viewpoint. I visited with my 21 year old daughter: they met us at the airport, provided a taxi service at a much better rate than taxis, offered lots of useful advice, and were excellent company. They are flexible, pleasant, accommodating and easy going. The 6 letting rooms are in a horseshoe shape overlooking the terrace, swimming pool, gardens and views. We had breakfast at a time of our choosing and it was lovely, sitting on the patio directly outside our room in the warmth of the morning sun. Everything was fresh and standards high at breakfast as in all else: lovely warm bread, fresh coffee, juice, meats, cheeses, croissants, perfectly cooked eggs, jams etc. Although we were on a bed and breakfast board, we found it very convenient to find that there were 2 huge fridges packed with cold drinks, alcoholic and soft, snacks, chocolate, ice creams etc, at virtually cost price. We also enjoyed relaxing in the evening on the huge sofas in the communal living room, watching one of our hosts DVD's. Extremely good value for money and I would heartily recommend. In fact I am returning in a few days!

The owners, Richard and Amanda are excellent hosts and strive to make their guests stay very enjoyable. They have lovingly refurbished the villa to a very high standard and they provide all the facilities a guest needs, including free heating / air con. wifi and tea / coffee. The Villa's location is good for exploring both the beaches and inland attractions of the Costa del Sol. We would happily recommend the Villa to any future potential guests.

Review 43：We had a very pleasant stay at the Villa, it´s runned by a very friendly, outgoing couple who did everything to let us feel home and welcome. The large bright rooms are clean, newly furnished, have perfect beds and a spacious bathroom. The villa is nearby to the Mijas (Pueblo and Costa). It´s very relaxed to walk out of your bedroom into the nice garden with a great swimmingpool. Within 5 minutes drive you´re at the seaside of Fuengirola. And a 20 minutes, easy, drive will take you to the airport of Malaga.
