Review 1：This is a very nice hotel, located right in the middle of the historic city centre. Our room was spacious and comfortable all the way. A stable and decent wifi was in the air at 3 Mbps download stream, fine for audio and video. The 2 restaurants in the house, a German 'kartoffelhaus' and a Spanish bodega serve fine, typical dishes in a cosy atmosphere. Personnel of both the hotel and its restaurants are quality servants.

Review 2：The breakfast-hall is too big and noisy.

Review 3：The location is very good in town. And there is a good restaurant direct in the Hotel. The beds are large and very comfortable. The rooms are quiete and very tidy.

Review 4：2 single beds in a wooden frame. Had to ask for bigger cup/mug but 2 mugs arrived promptly. Sloping ceiling in bathroom made showering difficult for someone over 6 foot. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel - the Spanish restaurant is a no-no.. If you like meat and spuds in big portions go to the Potato restaurant which you might well want if you have been in the Harz Mountains all day.

Review 7：Breakfast room exceptonal, quit, nice appartments and helpful welcoming staff. Very good value for money.

Review 8：There are no saucepans in the apartment room, it is necessary to ask the staff to bring them. The kitchen stove in our room didn't work: turning it on led to turning off the light in the room. One girl from the staff told us that they could fix it only in the morning (we wanted to cook a dinner)... She also told us that they have no other rooms in the hotel, however after some time another girl provided us a new room. The bed is uncomfortable. Coffee and juice at breakfast are not good. In general, there are many better places to stay in Wernigerode, even for less money.

Review 9：The restaurant called the Kartoffelhaus - I don't know if it belonged to the hotel, but it's attached. The staff were rude, and seemed like we were a hassle eating there. There are so many nicer Restaurants in Wernigerode where you get treated as a guest.

Review 10：We came early in the morning (8am) but they let us move in. We just had to wait for a cleaner to double check if the room was alright. The staff etc. were very helpful.

Review 35：Entrance to the accommodation was adjacent to the back of the kitchens, the bins, and the smell. Once we had checked in we had no contact with any staff even though we were there 3 nights. All felt a bit anonymous.

Review 36：Huge rooms on the top floor, with kettle and kitchenette.Excellent breakfast that varied slightly each day. The receptionist Artem was very helpful and spoke excellent English. Car parking was available. Hotel prettily decorated for Christmas- and right in the centre of Wernigerode.

Review 39：The receptionist didn't speak English very well (but she was nice and we managed). Internet costs 3 euros. Parking in the hotel yard is limited. During breakfast it took them too long to bring foods that were finished. But these are really small things.

Review 47：Great location, room very comfortable. However, make sure you request a room the "newer" section of the hotel. Rooms in the "older" section are bigger with a small kitchen, but they smell like smoke. If you do not mind the smell of smoke, then you will be fine. The rooms in the newer section of smaller, but more updated and do not smell like smoke. After the girl switched our room to the newer section, we were very happy with the hotel, and the breakfast was very good too.

Review 48：Excellent location, a few doors up from the main square and the Rathaus - this was for us the main sellingf point. Parking (though limited) available in hotel yard. Breakfast very good, lots to choose from.

Review 49：The only issue we had was noise, there was a party in the room off ofthe lobby, which was under our room and we could hear the music and djtalking until 2:30 in the morning! We did discuss with the hotel andthey discounted our fee that night.
