Review 1：The older lady running the place was not friendly at all to us as english speakers. Also, THEY DON'T STAY OPEN TILL 10 FOR CHECK IN AS IT SAYS. Call if you are going to be there past 8pm. We got there at 910 and there was no one there and door locked. We found a call button and was greeted by german and they didn't understand us and just left of there! We then waited 10 mins and pressed it again this time saying "help help", at which point she upsettingly came out and took our name and shoved the keys to us. Point being, don't show up late without calling. But to be fair don't let just that discourage a stay. If it is all thats available it is worth the money and just know what to expect with her.

Review 2：Clean room/shower. Good breakfast included! The town it is located in is also nice with some good and reasonably priced dining / nightlife options. I would suggest Barino! A nice place to stay if the oberstdorf hotels are all booked. About 20 min drive to the slopes.

Review 3：The reception area needs updating and cleaning It was very noisy outside bedroom door from about 6am, I think is where cleaning materials are kept so not very restful Very poor shower

Review 5：Smell of washing products, nasty carpets, tolerable breakfast. The attached restaurant is called "El Rancho". Y'all are serious, right? Nothing on the menu was actually Mexican. Nothing remotely interesting. Waitress couldn't speak Spanish.

Review 10：Good sized rooms and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and a good restart attached selling Mexican food as well as local specialities.

Review 11：Friendly staff, very nice beds, hotel was pretty empty so we got two rooms instead of one with extra bed. Dont know about the location, as we just stayed over night.

Review 12：Breakfast starts too late at 8:00am. Frau Bauer opened breakfast at 7:00am for me and several others who requested it.

Review 13：This is a simple and clean hotel with good sized rooms, and modern bathrooms. Herr und Frau Bauer are interesting people! Excellent breakfast, and nice little restaurant attached.

Review 14：Sonthofen as a town is not a tourist destination, think Le Havre or Leicester. Plenty to do in the area though.

Review 15：Convenient location, parking, great breakfast and very helpful staff. On site Mexican (yes that is right) restaurant is good.

Review 16：My only really issue was that breakfast was poor. I have stayed in 3star accommodation in Germany before and the breakfast was of a farbetter standard.
