Review 1：Very comfortable, very clean. Centre of town but had a quiet single room at back. Shared toilet and shower not a problem. Great little town. Would definitely stay again.
Review 2：I didn't like that as a non-smoker I had to go through the smoking area to parking lot at the backyard and I also could smell a little bit of smoke inside the hotel at some point. My room was located above the kitchen perhaps, so at the lobby I could smell kitchen too, but not in my room, so that's OK - I guess there is not much, what can be done about it. I could use some soap at the shared toilet upstairs.
Review 3：The staff was very helpful and understanding my needs. The room was nice and cosy, also well equipped. The breakfast was standard, but very tasty. I can imagine coming back. :)

Review 5：We loved all of it. The service was great, the staff friendly and efficient. The room was spacious, super clean and well equipped. The location is fantastic and in walking distance to just about everything. We had dinner in the restaurant which we thought was also fantastic. Breakfast was continental and had a variety of choices to match all tastes. We have no complaints and are planning to use this hotel again.

Review 7：The room was very comfortably furnished. The wifi was seamless. The staff were very friendly and personable. The restaurant was amazingly good. The food was excellent and presented to a very high degree of attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel.
Review 8：Don't bother with the small carpark at the back. Street parking OK once you get the hang of where to park, and for a couple of euros after six gets you a ticket to park untill ten next morning.

Review 19：It was what you'd expect from a typical German Gasthof. Friendly staff, pleasant and very clean rooms, excellent continental breakfast. We dined in a few times and the quality of the meals was also excellent - typical hearty German meals. The hotel was located in the heart of the Altstadt, but only 10 minutes walk from the rail and bus stations. Wernigerode was an excellent base from which to explore the local region as well. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely consider going back, both to the hotel and to the town.

Review 21：There was nothing to dislike. It would have been good for the in-room TV to have satellite connection so that some English language programmes could be available. However, we were not there to watch TV so this is a very minor point.
Review 22：The hotel is superbly located just off the main square in this small town. Our room was excellent with very clean en-suite shower room and toilet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped to make our short stay an enjoyable one. Wernigerode is a picturesque,small town located in the Harz region. There is a beautiful castle overlooking the town which may be reached by tourist bus, train style bus and horse-drawn carriages. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops selling superb cakes fformer
