Reviews for Landhaus Beth-Steuer

Review 1:The materasses are not particularly comfortable. You can also hear more or less what is happening in the neighbours' room.

Review 2:Cleanniness of the place, friendliness of the owner... She makes herself delicious jams and cakes that are served for breakfast. It gave me a really homy feeling!

Review 3:Not a bad experience but one does miss the openness that comes from a balcony which our room did not have. There was a problem with wi-fi reception in our room which was not the fault of the management and will be attended to by the management.

Review 4:The property was in excellent condition, the rooms were very clean, breakfast supplied was the usual as expected from European B&B. As we had to depart early the manager went out of her way and enabled us to eat a little bit earlier.

Review 5:Exactly what we were looking for in terms of comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. The family-run establishment is friendly and went out of their way to help. We were driving over to the Nurburgring at the weekend which entailed leaving the house at 6.30am, well before breakfasttime. The owner provided us with a packed breakfast that kept us going until lunchtime without a trouble.

Review 6:Friendly owner, good German breakfast and a dedicated parking space. Our second stay at this location.

Review 7:Very sad lounge downstairs.

Review 8:Quiet and cozy place where you can get enough sleep ;-) Nice and helpful owners, delicious breakfasts. Very clean.

Review 9:Room and breakfast very good. Located in a quiet street with free parking within 30 yards. Good restaurant nearby.

Review 10:We booked the Riesling suite as we travelled with a child and needed more space, upon arrival we got a small room instead, with no proper explanation, no bed was provided for our child.

Review 11:excellent location, very friendly owners, everything very clean and neat, nice and rich breakfast

Review 12:This is a quaint, family run hotel in a small village close to cochem on the Mosel. The cute couple that runs the hotel didn't speak English, but they were very nice and I can tell they care a lot about their establishment. We had a very comfortable stay for one night. If you have a car and want to explore the Mosel, this would be a fine option in a quiet place that's not as crowded and touristy as cochem.

Review 13:Staff was friendly. Room was comfortable for myself and my 11 y/oson. Breakfast was included and offered typical European breakfast.Proximity to Cochem and other nearby villages. We rode our bicycleseverywhere and discovered many sights. Would stay there again.

Review 14:Very friendly welcome with a glass of wine, especially welcome after a very long day for us. Good meal at an unpretentious outside restaurant nearby. Valwig is a small quiet village with no shops, directly above the western (quieter side) of Cochem. Small well tended garden behind the Landhaus to relax in beside the water feature. Certificates on the walls for prizes won by our hosts for their wine over the years. It was all very homely with an excellent breakfast supplied.

Review 15:Upon arrival, our hostess invited us into the bar/restaurant for a small glass of wine (they make their own wine, apparently). She is a delightful woman and really made us feel welcome. Overall, it is quite a quaint place. Our room also had a nice view of the back garden.

Review 16:Even though it was billed as satellite TV, there were only German-speaking stations (no CNN or BBC).

Review 17:Friendly, also for our dog. Nice quiet location close to Cochem. No view of the river Moselle, though. Simple but fine breakfast. Free WiFi.

Review 18:Nothing

Review 19:Good location close to Cochem. Excellent breakfast great variety. Dedicated parking bay. Friendly people

Review 20:Walls are very thin...

Review 21:Very nice hostess and family. Spotlessly clean, simple and modern decor. Ability to speak German would be helpful.
