Reviews for Hotel Edén
Review 1:The hotel faces out onto a square and due to the acoustics the noise does tend to rise. I didn't find it disruptive but if you like it quiet then you may need ear plugs.
Review 2:The staff are really friendly love to help. We had a gathering of guests on Christmas Eve which was like being with old friends!
Review 3:Make sure you check Google-maps, to identify potential places to park the car, before you arrive... otherwise you'll probably end up a little confused...
Review 4:The hotel is in a great location in the main Plaza - in the middle of Los Llanos - where you have a nice open area with trees and cafés - it's very relaxing. Los Llanos is a sweet little town, with a romantic architecture, and small modern shops - in clothes both casual & fine, as well as for sports/running hiking & biking (there's at least 3 different shops close to the hotel, where you can rent mountainbikes). At the hotel, they were really calm & friendly, and the owner - having spent most her life on La Palma - was very informative and helpful - pointing me towards some great local restaurants and beautiful walking paths. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere, and there's WiFi in the lobby (while I was there, it stayed relatively consistent between 6-8 Mbps)... and if you need connectivity & 4G-data, while on the move, there's a Vodafone-shop right next door. Anyway - the place is highly recommendable.
Review 5:Economic option with an independant bar below on the square offering breakfast and tapas. Hotel staff most friendly and accommodating. Los Llanos is a large lovely town, surrounded on 2/3 sides by volcanic ridges rising to the caldera. Breath-taking scenery, especially from the rooftop.
Review 6:the view. the bed and linen. the location right in the heat of Los Llianos and close to Caldera Taburiente. The Atmosphere. Clean. The Service - no annoying "overservice". the exact opposite of a traditional spanish resort hotel. The staff is actually helpfull about what matters and knows the Island. No extras you dont really need (tv, phone, minibar, iron, bar, fitness etc.). Eden doesn't offer a long list of facilities but what it does have is high quality.
Review 7:Great Location, if you are lucky you can also good views. Ideal to spend 1 or 2 night as a place to sleep and to stay near interesting places. The place is a little bit out dated but it's great if you don't plan to spend time in the hotel.
Review 8:The hotel is well located in the heart of the historic part of Los Llanos. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly . The cafe immediately below the hotel (Cafe Eden) was also friendly and good value and very popular with locals as well as tourists.
Review 9:The hotel is a little worn around the edges but fits well into the relaxed atmosphere of Los Llanos.
Review 10:Great location with plenty of good restaurants a short walk away. Los Llanos is friendly and authentic with good quality services without being overly touristy. Great value for money.
Review 11:Noise from other rooms and minor niggles like wi-fi not reaching the room, no plug in sink or bath and paper thin curtains letting street lighting in.
Review 12:A good-sized, modern room at the heart of the pedestrianised centre of town, handy for cafes, shops and buses. Super-friendly staff.
Review 13:It was very cold in the room, we stayed in January and the evenings are COLD. Some heating would have been appreciated.
Review 14:Very warm welcome and attention to special requests for extra pillows. Location was extremely central and in the old quarter. Two chairs in the bedroom! A very good cafe below the hotel which is convenient for breakfast.
Review 15:The ONLY thing that could be improved was the draught-proof curtain behind the main curtain in my bedroom as it smelt rather 'plasticy'
Review 16:I liked the central location, the comfortable and attractive Reception area with view out on the Plaza d'Espana. I very much liked the manager Sara who was so warm and welcoming and helpful. I loved the two little dogs as I was missing my own. Comfortable bed and room.
Review 17:Lovely People and a very warm wellcome... Highly recommended!
Review 18:Staff very friendly, comfortable room, well situated, good value.
Review 19:can expect some noise on the street late at night on weekends..
Review 20:The location; friendly & professional staff
Review 21:That in the small room you cannot open the window.
Review 22:Location, cleaness,
Review 23:lot of stairs to climb (though good for keeping fit)
Review 24:magnficent view
Review 25:No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Review 26:Lovely to sit on the balcony and look out over the plaza.
Review 27:basic comfort. No individual keys given to guests
