Review 1：Not a reflection of the hotel but you will need a car as the nearest market to even buy water is in Cochem
Review 2：Very cozy place and the host is a very warm nice man. The room was nice, basic but comfortable with hot water and clean towels.
Review 3：Parking, only a handful of spaces to the front of the hotel which are used by the other 2 guest hotels opposite. Tea/coffee facility's In room would be appreciated for when the bar is not open.

Review 14：What can I say - as far as the three of us were concerned everything could not have been better - so we liked everything.
Review 15：The accommodation was wonderful, the owners were fantastic we were immediately members of a small exclusive family - and, I can only recommend eating in the "Gewolbekeller". Bernd is a fantastic cook - even the rump steak was tender. Breakfast offered all that was needed even a hot boiled egg (and that does not happen very often). We only stayed for a couple of nights - but we will be back. That is a warning for the owners. No seriously we can only recommend Gast und Weinhof Beim Schneemann. By the way if you need any toiletries just ask. They have everything available even a new comb or razor.

Review 17：The guesthouse is very cozy, clean, calm and well located in the nice village of Valwig. We had a big room with a nice view. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and we felt very relaxed there.
Review 18：staff were fantastic, food was great, appartent was clean comfortable and had stunning views, we stayed an extra night we felt so at home , this was the best bit of our holiday and Mr Schneemann was lovely as were all the staff. I would highly recomend this guest house to any sort of traveller. 5 mins from cochem and out of the bustle of tourists ......5 stars
Review 19：From your reviews of this hotel, we were looking forward to our stay. But there seems to be a change in the running of it and the hotel and restaurant seem to have separated. We were greeted by an elderly lady/owner who gave us an apartment room in an adjacent building although one gained the impression that the hotel was nowhere near full.She insisted that breakfast for us and other guests in the other apartments would be served in what appeared to be her private breakfast room. We did notice a small number of guests came out of the hotel and had breakfast in the restaurant which is underneath the hotel. We felt cheated and dissatisfied by this arrangement and will not return nor will we recommend it.
