Review 1：Perfect location. Staff excellent with several exceptional individuals. Service really was with a genuine smile. Facilities are great. Suites are really very good.

Review 2：Excellent breakfast buffet; wonderful to have a hot water kettle in the room; great and very stable WIFI connection; lovely Xmas gifts (a bottle of champagne, homemade cookies)

Review 3：Hotel was very disappointing certainly does not deserve five stars by European standards. We had to change rooms as it was not clean. Staff were very poor with the exception of the manager who is helpful.

Review 5：Struggle to see this is 5* personally as I've seen comparable 4* hotels/facilities etc on the island - Aircon did not work properly despite being serviced it was incapable of getting to below 19 degrees ; Did not like having to pay extra for TV (given its 5*) ; Paying extra to have trousers pressed because there were no irons available mid afternoon then having the trousers returned with more creases than it went to them with (subsequentyl corrected) !!

Review 8：Air conditioning did not work, some of the lights were faulty and generally not well maintained. Some staff very friendly and polite. One or two other individuals bordering on rude.

Review 9：The pool seemed inaccessible to normal non-spa guests. The peninsula in front of the hotel is derelict and fenced off.

Review 10：The views and the location. Excellent breakfast buffet and pretty good evening buffet for just 18 euros extra if you are on a bed and breakfast booking.

Review 11：Lovely location, very friendly & helpful staff. Loved the pool & bar & terrace etc.. Didn't use the restaurants, but will when we stay next time. Our room was very quiet, so we had a good nights sleep. Very clean. Looking forward to our next visit.

Review 12：We had an excellent meal in the restaurant on the first night but on the second because they had a large group of people in the service was very slow,bad and we sent the food back twice as it was cold once it eventually arrived as did other tables for the same reason. The 3rd time it came back it had obviously been microwaved and over cooked the meat which ruined it. We gave it one last shot on the last night and everything was great. If they have large groups they should ensure there is enough staff all round to cover it

Review 20：The hotel is in Arrecife. The town was rather rundown and did not seem to cater for tourists too well. If want a base to wander about visiting tourist sites or to explore the area then this is not for you.

Review 21：The room was excellent, good size and great views. The dining room was very good with tables having a great view of the sea or beach. The pool area was modern, clean and quiet. The location of the beach was excellent being just outside the main entrance. This is an excellent choice if you want to chill out in 5 star luxury for a week at the pool or beach.

Review 27：We liked the location (in a real town, with real people and nice restaurants, in the center of the island). Also, it sits next to a beach which is fine for a little swimming. Our room (seaside) was quiet. Good price/quality ratio. Some people complain that this is not a real 5* hotel. Probably true, but for that price you cannot find any better. We stayed there for 16 days and went hiking almost every day (all over the island) and we also visited cultural highlights. For such a purpose, this hotel is just perfect. For people who need a beach hotel in order to get a tan and sit next to pool and cocktails I wouldn't really recommend this. In this hotel, you take a nice breakfeast and then get out. Btw. the roof top restaurant is good, but we mostly went out to the Chaco area, the new dwarf, etc.

Review 29：I read in earlier reviews that people had to pay for pool, we didn't and we used it everyday. The staff were all lovely especially Youlanda who works in the breakfast restaurant she was so nice, everyday. The resort is very Spanish no loud British or Irish larger louts that you get in most resorts ( we're Irish by the way) So good for a nice quiet relaxing holiday.

Review 36：The card key to the door didnt work, never got in first attempt, only after a few attempts would it allow us in. The lifts were very slow to arrive and staff shared lifts with clients, staffs had massive trolleys made a squeeze in the lift. Could have provided slippers and dressing robe in rooms. No one came to clean the room until I prompted and overheard somebody else complaining that his room wasn't cleaned either.

Pool cocktail bar excellent , they deliver cocktails direct to your 4 poster sun lounger . No outdoor pool but beach on the doorstep . Review 62：Well it's not that I didn't like this hotel. But, it is not what it purports to be. It is a good 3*, the fact that it has an indoor swimming pool and spa, probably makes it a 4*. For a 5* it would need to have all the trimmings, fluffy towels, luxury sheets, private seating area attached to the bedroom, everything and then something more.
