Review 1：When I booked in I was told that my room wasn't in the hotel. It was, in fact, in an apartment about 250m walk across the river.Nice enough modern apartment on the edge of the old town but rather inconvenient. Good job it wasn't raining !!! I had to find the place in the dark on my own and, even though my Spanish is passable, I still didn't find the place straight away and had to work out how to get in. AND, the apartment I had was on the third floor with no lift.
Review 2：Not easy to find a parking space near the hotel. Didn't see what the rooms were like (see my "not like" comments. The bar/reception and eating area were pretty scruffy. I didn't eat there.
Review 3：Two things mainly - It was never made known to us that the sleeping area was remote from the hotel. Despite offering to pay on arrival, and the booking clearly showing we were leaving Sunday morning, we were dismayed to find on Sunday morning that the hotel is closed all day! It took over an hour to actually get hold of someone that was prepared to come to the hotel to take our money! The shower waste was completely blocked making taking a shower impossible. It was even more frustrating to discover a much better hotel immediately opposite our hotel! I shan't rush back to this establishment.
Review 4：We had a tiny room with a double bed in it with hardly any room to move round the bed or store cases. It only had a single wardrobe and if it had had a single bed in it, the room would have been fine for a small single room. No view whatsoever from bedroom window. Couldn't open window as the noise was excessive. The window opened into a square hole in the centre of the building. If we had booked two single beds we would have had a much bigger room for the same price - the room we had isn't even shown in any of the photographs on Booking.com's website. We certainly don't feel we had value for money. We were told the restaurant would open in the evening but when we went down, it was closed and did not open again until the following morning. Reasonable wifi reception but only available on the ground floor either in the bar area or by the entrance doors (we were on the 2nd floor).
Review 5：Staff extremely friendly. Aircon quiet. Nicely refurbished shower room. Good location in the town.
