Review 1：This was not a bustling hotel so very quiet and a distance from any major local amenities. So if you are looking for local character this is not it but as a stopover it was fine.

Review 2：The staff were excellent and friendly especially the manager. An unexpectedly modern hotel to the south of Alcaniz set in a farmland area. Everything was clean and comfortable and the food at evening meal and breakfast was first class. A little off the beaten track but not too difficult to find. A swimming pool is a nice addition after a hot day.

Review 3：We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both were adequate but rather limited The swimming pool area could do with some sunshades. Other than these quibbles there is nothing not to like about this excellent little hotel.

Review 9：The hotel is modern with a really cozy feel. The locations is beautiful and very close to town and the race track (which was good for us). The beds are really comfortable and the food in the restaurant is very good. The service is also excellent.

Review 20：As with many small hotels, it was almost impossible to keep a steady shower temperature and, although the towels are all cleaned with environmentally-friendly products, it does mean that they do not "wick" away water very well, therefore it feels as if you are trying to dry yourself with a sheet of plastic.

Review 21：The friendliest staff, excellent rooms, a very accomodating menu, a peaceful and relaxing location and very many little touches that show a true dedication to making one of the best small hotels I have stayed with. I will definitely be rebooking here. This hotel stands out as well above it's star rating.

Review 23：Nice little gem that would deserve a more attractive surrounding. We just had a stopover on our way from Priorat to Rioja, and, well, Alcañiz is not that interesting. Sort of a grim blue-collar town with nothing much to offer. But then again, this ain't no review of Alcañiz - Villa Monter is quite flawless. Very nice staff, comfy rooms, great breakfast, good surroundings for a morning run.
