Review 1：Nice people and very helpful. Facility was nice - like an old farm converted to guest quarters and such. Big, delicious morning breakfast. Plenty to see in that area of Germany, not just Xandem.

Review 19：The bathrooms were small, but the building is from the early 20th Century so you can expect that. This is the only thing and I had to think hard. Still a great place!

Review 20：A wonderful old farm turned into a hotel. A playground for the kids with a wooden house and a rabbit pen. There were even horses to admire. The staff was just great and they were very adaptive to my awful German, but very gracious. The restaurant was fantastic. I would go back without a second thought. A great place with great people! Review 26：Lovely setting, in the middle of the countryside but within walking distance of Xanten. Our bedroom was furnished to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly - there was no language barrier as they spoke some English a we spoke a little bit of German as well. They even organised a German style evening meal for us when we told them we were too tired to go out to town after a long (500 mile) journey from Prague. Our breakfast was as we like it on the Continent - a buffet style with a good choice of cereals, cold meats, cheese, fish, fruit and with plenty of coffee (or tea). We shall stay there again - and for longer than just for one night.

Review 27：Beautiful hotel located within walking distance of downtown Xanten. Loved the countryside and bike and walking trails that are close to the property. Really, a surpise and a great find. It got my family's vacation off to a great start! Everyone thought is was beautiful.

It's in a beautiful setting, the rooms are spacious, peaceful and very comfortable. It's very calm and within easy access to the picturesque town on Xanten. Wifi access was very easy.

Review 34：Everything! An American friend had recommended it and it was everything he said. We (Americans) live in Germany and wanted a quiet getaway. Our room was very nice, the breakfast was delicious and the massage (thank you Gabi) was so relaxing by the fireplace. We will definitely recommend it and hope to come back some day.
