Review 1：Due to various delays we arrived after midnight on the first day and they left a paper trail to our room! Very conscientious and helpful. Breakfasts were very good.

Review 2：Easy to find - on the main road in from Stuttgart. Nice public spaces, big room, decent bathroom. Big, airy dining room and good breakfast. It is a little out of the town centre, about a 10 minute walk. No restaurants close by but a couple are nearish. It is worth walking into the town centre (which is really nice) where there is a good choice of eateries.

Review 3：Shower was unusable - shame, as it's a fundamental part of a night's accommodation. Think the problem was to do with poor plumbing and will need major work to sort out. We reported it. Also found close proximity of tables at breakfast uncomfortable.

Review 15：Incredible: it is not possible to unload luggage at main entrance. There is no parking facility reserved for this. In addition fast (!) driving cars pass within inches of hotel guests entering/exiting the hotel. This is not even made clear; very dangerous! - No curtains that block out the daylight; therefore guests will have to wake with the sun... - Bathroom totally open; absolutely no privacy and exhaust fan noisy and running for a long time after lights had been switched of. Uncomfortable. - Definitely not recommended

It doesn't like very prepossessing from the outside, and it's on the slightly americanised strip mall entry into this most lovely of German academic towns, but don't let outward appearances fool you. You get your value for money where it counts. The staff could not have been more friendly, and the room was great.

The hotel also has too stringent WIFI access (limited to one device per person) and usage of public common areas (such as no eating of outside food, including birthday cake, at the lounge area / main sitting area). Location is at the corner of main town, so not too convenient for tourists.

Review 43：The slight downside of the accessible location is that Hotel Stadt isn't in the prettiest part of the town. It's about a 15 minute walk into the old town. Neither was a problem for us. No tea or coffee facilities in our room (though there was a mini-bar).

Review 44：We chose the Hotel Stadt primarily because of ease of access from the autobahn. After a very long drive, we didn't fancy threading our way through a medieval town centre. The hotel fulfilled this requirement -it couldn't have been simpler to get to, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel itself is very nicely presented and sparkling clean. The room was comfortable and quiet. Staff spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was spectacular. And hey, after a few goes, the wi-fi worked. All in all, a very good hotel. Recommended.

Review 47：We were going to Tubingen to visit family but wanted a hotel that was not to close to the centre. We found this hotel on the internet and decided it was suitable for our needs. On arriving (earlier than the booking in time) the Receptionist was able to re-allocate rooms for us. This was just one example of the friendly manner of all staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable after a long day sight seeing. The lesuriely time for breakfast and continual supply of coffee served with a smile enabled us to have a relaxing time as a family before embarking on our adventures. One could sit on the couch and easily view someone using the shower or toilet. And there was no curtain to draw for privacy. Also the hotel is a bit of a hike from most attractions.
