Reviews for Hotel Zaymar

Review 1:My rooms was quite noisy, and the bathroom was small. Given the price for the room, though, this was not a problem.

Review 2:Good location, friendly staff, breakfast available (although very simple)

Review 3:Never has any bad experience. The place fitted our needs for a week of exploration as the transport is fantastic here

Review 4:This is a great base for exploring this city. Staff are pleasent and will help answer all your questions

Review 5:It was fine in general, could do with modernisation, but is honestly fine and goid value for money as it is. Wheelchair users may struggle as there are steps up to/down from the lifts. Could do with do not disturb signs!

Review 6:The staff were very helpful with directions / recommendations etc. i stayed as I was attending FIB in Benicassim-the shuttle bus left the other side of the square (a very nice park), so it was a good location. You can get the tram to the beach from the other side of the square too. Takes about 30mins if even and cost little over a euro. The square also has a massive el corte ingles dept store with many services such as supermarket, post office, currency exchange, dry cleaners etc. between the hotel and the dept store, you'll be able to get most goods and services covered.

Review 7:It is a nice, cosy hotel, in a good location - close to the main train station and easy access to the town centre. The reception guy, Dinu, was a fantastic help; always nice, helping us to find taxis to get to the Benicassim festival and giving us good directions and advice on what to enjoy around Castellon. Kudos!

Review 8:The breakfast was really poor.

Review 9:The position is fantastic, just a few meters from an amazing breathtaking park. The staff is excellently kind and helpful and the room was very clean.

Review 10:The single room seemed a bit small, breakfast is provided in the reception area but the price was very reasonable

Review 11:The staff were friendly and helpful. I think one of them spoke some English - I spoke to them in Spanish. The location was not far from the R.W. and Bus Stations

Review 12:Friendly staff, close to bus station, 24hr reception. Clean and cheap!! They even checked us in early.

Review 13:Break fast

Review 14:Cosy

Review 15:when you are a light sleeper the elevator makes a lot of noise in the night, as do the toilets and showers. Breakfast very simple, not tasty

Review 16:in the center , close by parc. simple, clean, value for money

Review 17:Sometimes you can hear other people speaking because some walls or doorare maybe thin and/or I had noisy people during my stay! Also, Itook an individual room and it was very small but... Thinking about whatyou pay, it's really okay.

Review 18:It's a nice hotel, budget friendly, with all the things you need:near the center, 20m from the big park, 200m from the bus/railstation, air conditioner, nice staff who cares about you, clean, wififree, etc. it's not luxury, it's not a hostel for the ones whoare looking for party inside it... It was perfect for me.

Review 19:The cost of parking in the carpark opposite the hotel we thought wasastronomical at 15 euros for one night....we were lucky to find a freespace in the street outside the hotel

Review 20:We liked the friendly welcome...the cleanliness of the hotel...thecomfort and facilities of the room...the good strong Wifi signal...thelocation was good with a beautiful park very nearby

Review 21:There was no hot water in the evening for showering. The breakfast was not very varied -coffee on a hot ring and mini croissants and some small cakes. Although you could have as much as you wanted there was no jam or butter and it was just about ok. There was no facility for having a drink before going to bed which would have been good -even a bottle of water in the room would have been good.

Review 22:The hotel was quiet and central and near to the station. The receptionist was very very helpful. She gave you water if you asked for it.

Review 23:The breakfast prices were unclear. I think it would be best to have the breakfast included in the price. For example we had cereal, coffee and toast and orange juice for 3-80 euros on Monday but we were going to be charged 9-80 euros for the same thing on Friday? Very confusing. I am still not sure what the 2-80 euros breakfast included. This needs to be much clearer.

Review 24:The arty design of the hotel. The fact that it was central but quiet.

Review 25:There is Wi-fi available but no computer on-site. However, their sister hotel 3 minutes walk away kindly allowed me to use their facilities.

Review 26:Good location, clean and welcoming. This hotel makes no pretence at being anything other than a 2 star hotel, but what it lacks in luxury it over-delivers in practicality and comfort. The staff are exceptionally efficient and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help out. I really appreciated their warmth and willingness to assist me. Silvia and Rothea were lovely...and breakfast was a nice added extra. Great value for money and highly recommended for solo travellers.

Review 27:Can't really think of anything, just no where to really sun bath but it's not there fault just location fault

Review 28:The staff were very nice and very helpful! Free wifi :) Free breakfast

Review 29:Communication a bit difficult if you don't speak spanish.

Review 30:The proximity to center of castelllion. Very helpful staff, though domeonly spoke spanish.

Review 31:The room is really poor, old etc. I would say it's 1* hotel, not 2. The breakfast is awfull, there is nothing on it. And a lot of strange people in the hotel...Which don't let you take a normal rest in the night because of the noise.

Review 32:Only the price and the location isn't bad.

Review 33:small room

Review 34:location and cleanliness

Review 35:good place and price.
