Review 1：when we arrived after a one and 30 minutes diversion due to the road being closed the hotel was closed, we went next door to hirschen they told us there was a barbecue in the park without there input we have been looking for accommodation

Review 3：Located in a very peaceful village near to good walks, the staff were very friendly. The guesthouse's free breakfast is excellent, as was dinner when we ate there one evening. Rooms were cosy, with great showers.

Review 6：Good location! Very quiet. Not more than 1 hour drive to most of attractions and 15 min drive to Freiburg. Room Is perfectly clean and has a nice balcony. Nice brekfast.

Review 7：The internet signal is weak on the ground floor of Sonnenhof building. Needing separate internet log-on passes for each device in a family is less-than-convienent.

Review 8：Gasthouse Krone Post manages the main Inn and other buildings in the town in addition to the grill platz, mini golf, and small pool. The apartments in the Sonnenhof building are an excellent value. Modern, spacious, and comfortable. Wheelchair accessible apartmants are on the ground floor. Hotel rooms on the first and second floors are clean and comfortable even if they retain the original 1980 green tiles and bath appointments. All rooms have balconies to enjoy the beautiful views. When registering you recieve a guest card which entitles you to free use of the modern, fun municipal pool and the regional busses. Ask for mini golf cards in the restaurant to play for free and have a snack or drink at the adjacent grill platz. Ample breakfast available daily. If you are hiking, the bus pass is useful for returning to Simonswald from wherever you wander. Dogs welcome for a small fee. I would stay again and recommend Gasthaus Krone Post.
