Review 1：Food was poor and restaurant staff were not too friendly and not very efficient in serving drinks or clearing away plates. Rooms extremely basic, loose toilet and very dated!

Review 15：We were given the worst room possible, so badly situated that not only did the wifi not reach but the tv could get no signal. Didn't matter anyway there were no English channels for my 10 year old to watch.

Review 16：Fine if you are on a low-budget holiday and are not too particular about the quality of accommodation. Entertainment seemed well received. A traditional old-style Spanish hotel but too outdated for the price.

Review 17：When we booked our room - there was no separate option to pay extra fora balcony. I sent emails to the hotel direct - as well as throughbooking.com requesting a balcony. There was never any mention of extracharges. We were put in a very small 'box room' without abalcony, and when we complained they offered to move us the next daywhich was fine. The next day we were informed we had to pay an extra 47Euros for this balcony!!! (After we had already re-packed and moved ourthings from the old room) Ridiculous!! We should have been informedabout this extra charge previously, or we most probably would havestayed elsewhere.

Review 18：The location is absolutely perfect, in the older part of town, only a 5minute walk to the beach, and 2 mins to the shops/restaurants.

Review 21：salads and fruits where good. the meat i guess should be replaced with order, so guests order food from menu day before and specify when they plan to attend, it will keep cost down, and will rise the quality. pool was so dirty... was too noise till midnight or even after. guess it is ok place for kids older than 10 years.

Review 24：Position of hotel is excellent. You are in the centre of it all with easy access to train and facilities. Breakfast suited everyone and was refreshed constantly providing fresh food at all times.

Review 28：Stuff is helpful and very nice, the room is cozy and quiet, free bike rental, free beach umbrellas available , the location is the best you can imagine.

Review 29：Pool very small, only a handful of sunloungers which didn't get much sun! Charges for all extras in the room such as safe, fridge etc. Entertainment was so bad it was funny!

Review 36：Location is perfect, right in the centre of Calella town.Very friendly and helpful staff Very clean Very good price I loved the fact that they also owned sunbeds and a bar on the beach, and offered a promotion of 2 soft drinks + a sunbed for 5 Euros.

Review 37：The walls were fairly thin, we could sometimes even hear our neighbor's TV. However, the biggest issue was that at 7 a.m. people started knocking (part of a school group was in the two rooms next to ours) and it was so loud, it sounded like they were knocking on our door. The bathroom had no lock. Also, the terrace door didn't close properly on the sides, but there were beds in front of it (and we were higher than ground level) so it wasn't that big of an issue. At specific times (mainly in the evening) the wifi was overloaded and not usable.

Review 38：Overall the hotel was very good, the staff was always nice and helpful, when we skipped breakfast the cleaning personnel waited for us to go out later in the day so they could make our beds and clean. When we stayed in, they knocked and politely asked if we wanted to have our room cleaned or not. The food variety was more than sufficient, they had differently themed buffets on some days and even though some dishes were repeated multiple times (during 14 days) it was never "the same old boring stuff". Furthermore, the wifi really was accessible from anywhere in the hotel including the rooms.
