Review 1：The staff is friendly and helpful and welcomes us back every time. A comfortable hotel with basic but clean rooms very near the beach. We are frequent visitors at the Almijara.

Review 3：The Almijara is centrally situated in the beautiful La Herradura. We were lucky enough to be upgraded from the double room we booked to a suite (probably because it was out of the busy season). Several excellent bars and restaurants very close by.

Review 8：What a great find the Almijara was - large room that was attractively decorated, well appointed, clean and comfortable with a small balcony.The staff were fantastic - warm reception and so very helpful during our brief stay. Breakfast was ample and thoroughly enjoyable. Parking at the hotel was well organised for a small additional charge.

Review 12：This hotel had an excellent location with the seafront only a short distance away. The staff were friendly and helpful, bedrooms spacious and comfortable and bathroom spotless with wonderful fluffy white towels!! The breakfast buffet was extensive with bacon egg and continental cheeses,cereals etc, and indeed everything you could wish for. The parking could possibly be a problem in the height of the season but we managed to find space on the seafront which was only a short walk away. Will be definitely returning next year.

Review 13：The hotel is situated only cca. 3 minutes from the nearest beach ( including the way in the lift). The hotel itself is extremely clean, staff is very friendly, nice and polite. The breakfast is worth trying, it is generous and tasty. The rooms are well equiped, the only thing missing is a boiling can on the room.

Review 14：If you have a room with a seaview,be sure you will be waken up by the parrots which are extreme talkactive in the morning:-) however, this can be see also as a advantage!

Review 15：Beautiful view on the mountains as well as on the sea from the balcony, nice and friendly staff, a breakfast which does not let much wishes open, great situated hotel only a few minutes to the beach. If travelling by car, it is possible to park it on the main street going along with he beach. If looking for bars and good restaurants, just have a walk along the beach, you will wind something for sure.

Review 18：The whole stay was excellent and we have booked to come back again in June for another long week-end, this will be our 3rd time of staying with you, would not stop anywhere else. Wonderful place/time. Everybody very helpful and friendly.

Review 20：We arrived a couple of hours early and were greeted by an exceptionally friendly Receptionist who checked us in and explained where to park the car for free close by, avoiding the hotel's €8 charge. Nice too to have free WiFi in a large, super clean room with spacious bathroom, including bath. Breakfast, a modest additional charge, also exceeded expectations with a great choice of hot food in addition to the usual pan, ham and cheese. I visit Herradura often and this is now our hotel of choice. Our room represented excellent value for money.

Review 22：The hotel receptionist spoke excellent English & was very helpful. Secure car parking at 8€ per night was very reasonable for a Spanish hotel. Hotel room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Breakfast buffet was extensive: cereals, bacon, eggs, rolls, ham, cheese, fruit, pastries, etc. Great location close to the beach. Will definitely return!

Review 49：It is hard to think of anything to say here we were very satisfied. The location of the hotel means there was a little street noise in our room, but that's not surprising so near the beach and facilities. It did not disturb our excellent nights sleep.

Review 50：We arrived, we thought, a little early to ask if we had the requested parking and make arrangements. The English speaking receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Told us they had upgraded us to a suite, explained the parking and said that by the time we were parked and unloaded the room would be ready for us. The suite was lovely, clean and comfortable, with a huge bed (we are both very tall, this was bliss). Excellent air con. The buffet breakfast offered everything you could think of from cereal, fruit, meats and cheeses, bacon and eggs to chocolate and churros (!). Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will certainly come back here. We thought it was excellent value for money

Review 51：Pillows were pretty flat (minor complaint, but ended up causing me neck strain, im used to a thick and hard pillow at home). Otherwise nothing.

Review 59：Did not tell us until we arrived that you can't reserve the parking, even though we requested it. They only have about 5 spots available for the entire hotel. Room was okay but not super clean and we found cockroaches in the bathroom in the morning. Breakfast was edible but not very tasty.
