Review 1：Cheap, clean, comfortable rooms. The restaurant attached to the hotel does good food and the staff are friendly if you smile and try to speak a little Spanish. It´s rough and ready and entertaining. The hotel is out of town but the buses are fairly regular and stop right outside
Review 2：The area of the city was a little dodgy, though the city itself is beautiful. Some little things were missing, e.g. the facility to make a warm drink.

Review 6：We booked this hotel (Monolo, Cartegena) with Booking.com and had aconfirmation. At the time of booking, the hotel took the money from ourbank. We queried this with Booking.com and they said that was what weagreed to and that we should read the conditions. When we got to thehotel, they did not have our booking. When I showed my confirmation, theReceptionist said that we did not have a booking, then she gave us aroom and said that the bathroom was outside in the corridor. I told herthat we had booked a room with a private bath, she said that we bookedMonolo ii , that means no private bath. I said that we wanted a privatebathroom, she said that we had to pay 50 Euros for the room and I saidthat we will as it was about 7pm in the evening and we had beentravelling all day. We discovered that you could not swing a cat in theshower and the bed was not big enough for my 6 feet 3 inches tallhusband. She said that we may be able to change the next day, but nextday, she said nothing. When we went to check out, the man behind thedesk said we had to pay 100 euros. I told him that they had alreadytaken 72 euros from our bank and no way was I going to pay another 100euros. He said that their records showed that we had not paid. I got mybank book out and showed him that they had taken the money out on 5 Julyand I then paid the balance. I would never recommend that anyone stay inthis place. The yard was covered in cigarette ends all weekend. Adisabled lady could not get her wheelchair in, although they told herthat they had disabled access. She had to crawl around with two stick,luckily she was only there for one night.
Review 7：Not sure where to put it, but when we arrived, we could hear someone having sex through the wall. :-) Booked a room with a shared bathroom and got one with private one. There's a free parking available on site.

Review 12：Exterior and location looked a bit run down upon arrival, but pleasantly surprised by the rooms. Location of hotel is a walk into the downtown area which is okay, but the streets around the hotel seems a little run down, the walk gets nicer as you get closer to center.

Review 22：The advertised wifi was pretty useless. You could only connect for a few minutes at a time and the connection was spotty at best.

Review 31：We needed access to a computer to book our next travel destination. Iasked at the reception and they had a computer in a back room that wasfree for guests to use. It was nothing flash however was such an assetfor booking the next week of our trip. As the location isnt that greatwe ended up taking some of our own drinks into the back room and hangingout for the evening. Turned out to be quite fun. In the morning we wentto the cafeteria next door for coffee and a croissant which weresurprisingly good.
