Review 3:Not applicable.
Review 4:The breakfast selection was outstanding. We didn't spend too long in the room as the town had a lot going on, but our time spent there was enjoyable. Will hopefully go back. Just far away from the town centre to be peaceful, but close enough to be where the action is in under 5 minutes.
Review 5:No English newspapers. No explanation of how breakfast worked with cooked service. Staff quite formal and assumed knew how the hotel worked
Review 6:Room -went for apartment - expected separate seating area but it worked. Loved the bathroom - all glass fantastic shower. Lovely buildings and location.staff member who made sure had a meal when returned late one evening
Review 7:We liked everything really. The quirky decor of the room, the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff. The fact that our dog was welcome and well taken care of. The superb breakfast. A real gem of a find.
Review 8:The wifi did not work. Good for a holiday. Not so good if you really need to do some work stuff.
Review 9:The location, personnel and breakfast are just the best. We had an excellent stay at Hotel Klemm. The room was large enough and had all the assets we could wish, with one exception: no bath
Review 10:Terrible pillows. Very small bathroom. No fan or air conditioning. Expensive private car parking.
Review 11:Location. Courtyard garden. Good breakfast for cost
Review 12:A little bit difficult to find a parking place onthe street.
Review 13:Great breakfast, nice yard to enjoy a drink in the evening. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nicely refurbished hotel and rooms.
Review 14:Maybe the bathroom is a bit to small.
Review 15:Well I'm totally in love with this Hotel! The old building with it's beautiful architecture, the individual designed rooms and the friendly hotel stuff! The hotel is situated very central, but in REALLY quiet surroundings. My bed was very comfortable. In summer you can sit at the cozy patio. The breakfast at Hotel Klemm was best hotelbreakfast I've ever had! ❤ very individual and so much homemade things, like jam, spread and a fresh cake etc. Also the breakfast rooms were designed in such a nice style. vintage style meets modern interior design. All in all I can recommend you to stay in this beautiful little Hotel in the city centre of Wiesbaden!
Review 16:The room was really small but if you are a solo traveler it's just right!
Review 17:Very close to the shopping street and Stadtmitte. Cosy rooms Great breakfast ( home made cake was simply delicious)
Review 18:A very lovely hotel with great deal of hospitality. A little bit far from the central station, but very near location to the national theatre and Kurhaus. Comfortable. スタッフがとても親切な、家族経営のホテルです。駅から少し距離がありますが、バス停からすぐですし、国立劇場などにも歩いてすぐです。
Review 19:Internet connection was only moderate. The access to the hotel be car was difficult because of the one way streets. Need a sign on the door that you are at the right place. I couldn't find the buzzer.
Review 20:The proprietor was wonderful and the breakfast was great.
Review 21:Nothing significant but the lobby downstairs was pretty cold. Also there could be a mirror in the room. Now the only one was in bathroom. Also a couple of hooks for outdoor clothing would be nice. Now the only place was in the wardrobe with other clothes. There could also be a standard lamp for reading when sitting in the chair. But, as I said, these are only minor development ideas.
Review 22:Very good location even closer to pedestrian area than we thought. Very spacious and comfortable room (XL) with electric fireplace that created a great atmosphere. Good and easily adjustable heating. Excellent bed. Breakfast was as good as we expected. Very quiet room in 3rd floor. Felt like being the only guests in the hotel.
Review 23:Overcharged by taxi driver to the airport; no fault of the hotel...they secured a special rate and we failed to confirm prior to leaving. We were overcharged by 12 euro!
Review 24:Fabulous breakfast- best ever and we travel extensively...
Review 25:The statue of the black boy on the staircase should be absolutely removed-it's not just out of time but also scary at night
Review 26:The room arrangement-modern and offering comfort, extremely good breakfast and nice breakfast room
Review 27:nothing - it was fabulous
Review 28:beautiful building, original features lovely breakfast & good value friendly staff no hidden extras lots of attention to detail great location
Review 29:Internet was not working ... this was particularly disappointing because one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the free internet. Good internet is a must for catching up with family, accessing travel information, etc.
Review 30:Comfortable room with good amenities. Walking distance to town square, shopping, restaurants. Very clean hotel, good breakfast.
Review 31:Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Review 32:Everything was perfect--as it says in the book about the hotel which you can see at reception, no detail too small. The breakfast was incomparable--5 star hotels would not provide a breakfast buffet this sumptuous. Easy walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. It would be easy to vacation at Hotel Klemm!
Review 33:1. No lunch , no dinner provided in the hotel. 2. Nobody to reach after 2100hrs-the reception is empty as from this hour.
Review 34:The ease with which to come and go as one pleases
Review 35:It is not easy to have the towels to dry inside the bathroom.
Review 36:Fantastic central location. Cosy and comfortable decoration. The breakfast is fantastic and with a great timetable. It allows to eat until 11 a.m. which is realy great for those seeking to rest. The staff is very friendly, helpful and nice. In this hotel we really feel at home.
Review 37:No AC! The humid nights made it difficult to sleep. Also, the wifi was extremely weak, and could not reach past the threshold of the room.
Review 38:Good location; spacious room; charming building; breakfast.
Review 39:No fans and strangely happy response when I asked for one -- as though I should be happy, too, that there were no fans. If guests break or steal them, then the staff could have guests pay a deposit, or find some other solution, to provide fans on 30-degree days in July.
Review 40:Likes: Location (close to downtown but enough distant to be quiet), breakfast, decor, bathrooms and water pressure, antique building, charm. The woman who worked the reception desk (and oversaw the kitchen) on a Sunday morning in July was particularly competent.
Review 41:Booked a twin room, got a double room instead. Remember to call the hotel if arriving after 21:00, since the reception closes.
Review 42:Tasteful and modern decoration, comfortable and clean rooms, amazing breakfast. Location is nearby to the city center, with lots of cool restaurants and bars down the street.
Review 43:Small rooms No Bar
Review 44:The location, the breakfast and the decor!
Review 45:-
Review 46:Great hotel, heaps of atmosphere, wonderful breakfast.
Review 47:Very good location, comfortable big room and excellent breakfast. Great support throughout the stay.
Review 48:Extremely nice staff, very good and not expensive breakfast, close to city center and very nice room.
Review 49:- very good breakfast with fresh juice - very nice and friendly staff
Review 50:Lovely friendly staff, great location and the best hotel breakfast I have had!
Review 51:As always a great stay. A boutique hotel. I stayed there several times and will come back with great pleasure.
Review 52:Room too hot
Review 53:Nothing
Review 54:Friendly and helpful staff Relaxed atmosphere Wonderful breakfast
Review 55:Design, breakfast, people, location. I stayed there several times and will come back while travelling for private purposes. Just exceptional!
Review 56:Poor Breakfast
Review 57:N/A
Review 58:Location, view from my room, staff, food, and overall ambiance
Review 59:The bed was too small for two persons at m type room.
Review 60:Very friendly and helpful staff - very good breakfast
Review 61:For some the room might be small; design made up for that.
Review 62:Design, individuality, quiet, walking distance to good restaurants, shopping, and taxis.
Review 63:No direct access from the parking to the main building so carrying big luggage will cause inconvenience.
Review 64:The location The spacious apartment room
Review 65:small room (corner room)
Review 66:design, cleanliness, location, breakfast
Review 67:Room was a little small
Review 68:Location, facilities, food
Review 69:Only on street parking was available. The room was warm. At minimum, a fan would have helped.
Review 70:Good location. Very good breakfast - worth the 5€!
Review 71:Do not use room 414 it's very loud from 8:30 on as next to clerk room Rooms could have been cleaned a more dilligently
Review 72:Nice House Great Central Location Good and Rich breakfast Comfortable bed
Review 73:The floors were very squeaky. We asked for additional pillows and the evening receptionist was too busy to accommodate us. The hotel description states there is parking available but they had none when we arrived about 5 in the afternoon. Street parking was very difficult. WiFi did not work at all.
Review 74:We were in one of the large twin rooms with a balcony. It was very nice and it was great sitting out on the balcony on a cool May morning. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. Breakfast was above average.
Review 75:The room was really a bit too small. Next time I'll be asking for one of the bigger ones looking out on the street.
Review 76:Nice building, nice breakfast, great location - courtyard very pleasant for sitting with a drink - free wifi, easy to park outside on the street, very nice staff
Review 77:Very friendly staff. Lucy, the dog of the hotel, added much warmth to the hotel, making it feel like a home!! The design of the hotel was great too. Wonderful location! Would go back in a heart beat!
Review 78:Some days we felt a very pregnant food smell on the hall (smell like onions, garlic), even though the hotel does not have a restaurant (we could not explain this). In the morning the hotel staff had breakfast together with the clients (so you had to "disturb" them from eating if you had a request)
Review 79:It is a very old building (historical monument), but impeccably restored. Is very warm, clean, quiet. Parking in 12 euros per night. Breakfast is excellent
Review 80:Hotel seemed to have changed ownership, or something, since my last stayand new staff seemed not quite "on top of" things.
Review 81:Nice-sized rooms; good water pressure. Rooms at back of hotel arevery quiet. Easy walk into central Wiesbaden. Excellent breakfast.Friendly dog.
Review 82:We booked an apartment which turned out to be in an annex to the hoteltwo doors up the street. If we had known it was in a separate buildingwe would have stayed somewhere else. The apartment was large butsoulless and faced directly onto the street on the ground floor. I wouldnot stay there again. Breakfast however was good value at 5 Euros perperson, although not particularly inspiring.
Review 83:My room was quite clean but can't rate as 'excellent' as the floor was a little dusty. Maybe just hadn't been used in a while? Not a huge deal.
Review 84:Great and would definitely stay here again. This was my second stay in Wiesbaden but first at Hotel Klemm. It made for a quiet restful one night stopover from Canada en route to Central Asia - almost same time from airport as downtown Frankfurt. HUGE selection on the breakfast buffet!
Review 85:Note that it is a 30 minute brisk walk to the station - not a problem as long as one is prepared - there is a very good bus system. A sheet in the room with useful information for the traveller would be useful e.g. meal times (just told verbally on check-in), bus connections, some local information etc.
Review 86:Interesting, well-appointed rooms, each decorated very differently; comfortable beds.
Review 87:difficult on-street parking, noisy revellers in courtyard area.
Review 88:Nice town, quirky and individual hotel. Free mini-bar, good quality toileteries, nice breakfast, free wi-fi, friendly staff
Review 89:Breakfast whilst excellent was a bit frenetic, with only a small central area to get food from.
Review 90:Although an old hotel it had many modern touches that enhanced our stay rather than detracted. it's location is excellent for all activities within Weisbaden.
Review 91:5 minutes walking into centre from hotel. Lovely old building with 'Jugendstil' character. Rooms modern and comfortable and staff very friendly. Lovel breakfast. Garage parking available.
Review 92:It was two very hot days: 35 degress celsius and we have missed a fan or ar conditioning.
Review 93:Amazing rooms! Lovely staff and great localization. 21 days in Germany and it was one of The bests we were.
Review 94:We checked in for one night but had to leave early so did not takebreakfast. The lady in reception was very friendly and helpful. Theroom was clean and comfortable bathroom was small but adequate. Webooked a parking space and the car park was secure and next to thehotel. We would return to this hotel, it was within walking distance ofthe centre.
Review 95:The friendliness of the staff (we got any support one can imagine while making the last days before our during our move to another continent) The breakfast - absolutely delicious with an amazing selection of homemade foods
Review 96:I didn't like that animals were aloud in the dinning area.
Review 97:My husband has to use a cpap machine with an oxygen concentrator and the hotel has a very small elevator so we did not have to carry all this too far.We stayed on the third floor and the bathroom was big enough also with plenty of room.
Review 98:The hotel is on a quite street within waking distance from the city center. We parked the car just in front, free of charge. The rooms were confortable, the Wifi worked super and the breakfast was wonderful. I would certaintly choose this hotel again.
Review 99:WiFi didn't really work.
Review 100:Staff was so friendly, Hotel has an old-charm, room was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice!
Review 101:People Working At the Hotel were very helpful Giving directions, TookTime out for me and the breakfast Buffet was a++++!!! Very comfortableroom and tastefully decorated, Hotel is beautiful with Old World charmbut with all the modern conveniances. I would come back for sure!
Review 102:No iron available to use in my room. I had to use the hotel's mainiron, in their laundry room. Not really a problem, but I thought itshould be mentioned.
Review 103:Each room was uniquely designed, with many stylish touches. My room hadfresh cedar in it, and the smell was wonderful. Staff was friendly andhelpful. Convenient location to walking around the town centre atWiesbaden. Will stay here every time.
Review 104:Great location in easy walking distance of the main attractions. Very helpful owner/manager who gave us good recommendations for restaurants. Secure parking.
Review 105:Carpet in common area is old and stained (but, all the rooms I saw hadwood floors).
Review 106:Unique room. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (5 euros - abargain). Parking, for a fee, is in a garage next door. Very tightparking. Hope you have a compact car. Lucy, the house dog, is a friendlyaddition to this hotel.
Review 107:The room price was on the high end of what Wiesbaden hotels werecharging for a January weekend. This seemed too high, considering thebed was relatively small. We experienced some minor problems - the hairdryer didn't work and internet service kept dropping.
Review 108:The room was large and attractive, although a bit spartan. The hotel islocated in a quiet area but is within walking distance from Wiesbadenattractions. The breakfast is extremely generous for the low price.
Review 109:Room looked a bit tired and could use an update but was clean and comfortable.
Review 110:Friendly & relaxed atmosphere. Close enough to city center to walk. Very friendly staff. Very nice breakfast especially since they only charge 5 Euro per person.
Review 111:The hotel is a restored work of art. Everywhere you look are unique ornate details. The rooms are bright with big windows that open to fresh air. We were able to stay for one night. We chose it for it's proximity to Frankfurt airport, for it's uniqueness and value. It was walking distance to many restaurants and if I am ever in Wiesbaden again, I will surely stay here and explore the city. The breakfast was over the top.
Review 112:Guests sitting in the courtyard late at night could be a bit noisy.
Review 113:Good location - slightly away from the main part of the town but near buses and restaurants.
Review 114:Parking is designed for small cars, we had a larger car and haddifficulty in parking the car.
Review 115:Accomodations were very good. Would recommend to any traveler who wouldlike to be near the shopping and part areas.
Review 116:Pillow too soft and small
Review 117:Such a pleasant environment with a very quaint, well kept courtyard.Could not beat the breakfast for such a reasonable price. Have alreadyrecommended it to my daughter.
Review 118:No air conditioning in the room and no net in the windows. It was 25°coutside and the room remained warm for a long time. For 2-3 night, it isfine though.
Review 119:Great location: less than 5 minutes walking to the main pedestrianstreets. Also, the hotel is located in a one-way street so noise isreduced. Breakfast was not so big, but still there was a nice varietyto choose from. And the salad fruit was a fresh one with seasonfruits! It is very rare. Also, price of breakfast (5€) is reallyaffordable and totally worth it. Compared to other hotels who charge20-25€/night for parking, the 10€ this hotel asks is very reasonable. And it is a private parking located two houses before the hotel, sovery convenient and safe.
Review 120:Please take into account that we were told that check-in starts at 14:00, not 13:00 as specified at booking.com (maybe this is right for apartment only, I don't know). The apartment is on the first floor with big windows and features jalousies, so we had to choose between enough daylight and enough privacy. Though I've noticed that a lot of German homes don't have any curtains at all, so probably we were even lucky to have at least jalousies :) No air conditioning.
Review 121:We stayed in the apartment and I can say it is well designed and has comfortable furniture. The breakfast was good, especially the strawberry pie :) The staff was friendly and helpful. There are flowers in the inner yard of the hotel and nice labrodor dog wandering around.
Review 122:If you want to reserve parking in the garage next door, you must call the hotel directly, well ahead of time. It cannot be done through booking .com . I highly recommended it... parking is a challenge, especially if you are not used to tight parking on the street.
Review 123:Hotel Klemm is located within a very short walking distance to all important sights, restaurants, and activities of down town Wiesbaden. It is a totally adorable boutique hotel with a fabulous breakfast bar. Free wi-fi throughout the hotel is a big plus if you don't want to run up a huge data bill when traveling. The staff is more than helpful and very welcoming I really loved it and plan on staying there again on my next visit!!!!
Review 124:Parking is very scarce in this area and Klemm has their own in-doorparking, however, it is kind of difficult to get into it. They alsochanged the way to access this garage and is less convenient.
Review 125:This was our second stay at Hotel Klemm and once again we were verypleased with our stay. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful - therooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is the best in town.We will certainly come back (as a matter of fact I have already bookedmy next stay in September) - thanks for a lovely time!
Review 126:The staff were welcoming and helpful and tried to accommodate ourwishes. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast wasexcellent and there was plenty of it, even later in the morning.
Review 127:Decor needs updating although quite adequate for our stay. Noticed alot of dust on the lampshade.
Review 128:Close to town with an 'old world' atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant couple running hotel.
