The breakfast was great (I love Germanbreakfasts) and the breakfast room is very nicely furnished. Best ofall, the staff at Hotel am Landeshaus couldn't have been friendlieror more helpful! This was night one of a two week trip that began andended in Frankfurt and we loved this hotel so much that we booked itagain for our last night too! I will stay here when I return toWiesbaden!

Review 28：I didn't like the narrow street it was on, nor the neighborhood, nor the old decor. The walls were too thin, and I could hear the neighbors talking or playing their TV until 3 am.

Review 110：Even though I arrived about 17:20 (5:20 pm) there was no one at reception and the front door of the hotel was locked. I was required to telephone a number but did not have a mobile telephone operable in Germany. After some 30 minutes (during which I was ringing the door bell and knocking on the door) a kind German lady telephoned the number on the door and was given a code to a box in which my key was placed. It took the lady some three or four attempts to open this box with telephone directions from the hotel. I believe that a hotel should have a reception desk available to visitors, and not be unattended. I doubt that his institution should be classified as a hotel. It is more like a pension. Breakfast was supposed to be from 7 am but was not ready then.
