Review 4：The view from the roof balcony towards the castle and the sea. The lovely patio with running water and plants in the middle of the property. The silence. The exceptional helpfull and lovely woman who ran the place together with her husband.

Review 17：breakfast delicious with ample choice of local products and good coffee; while no beach in Garachico there are a couple of nice beaches east and west of Garachico (within 5-10kms distance); was a good spot for 2 nights exploration of north west coast before we headed back to favourite Medano in the South

Review 39：For the price we had a small room; adequate but nothing more. The 'en suite' was literally that - just separated from the bedroom by a 6 foot glass partition; no ceiling to the shower / toilet room so felt very open! As true Brits we didn't like that at all. A large room had been partitioned into two bedrooms by a thin partition wall which was not soundproof; we were able to listen to next doors' conversation which we could hear word for word (as not in our language we couldn't understand what they were saying, perhaps fortunately! The breakfast was adequate at best. Limited choice. The Hotel seems to be run for the benefit of the owners / staff rather than the guests, so we never felt particularly welcome.

Review 40：Position - with roof top terrace overlooking the sea. Conveniently located for other town facilities. Internally a very pretty layout around a central courtyard. Kettle in room (unusual for tenerife).

Review 49：Arriving there, we were personally greeted by Sonya and Miguel, the owners. Breakfast at this place leaves no further wishes, you find english breakfast, continental breakfast and Sonya listens to her guests as well... :) Garachico was our perfect 'base camp' to explore the part of Teneriffa not yet 'spoiled' by a freeway cutting through the landscape. There is a number of good local restaurants with an excellent value for money.

Review 51：Gara hotel has only few rooms, is well decorated and clean. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is well situated in the village of Garachico. The village itself is lovely, tranquil, and charming. we can get a flavour of authentic canarian living. There is a good choice of restaurants. It is a good starting point for us to visit the north and south of the Island. We found that this was this part of the island we preferred.

Review 52：The additional charge for fresh orange juice at breakfast is notjustified at a room rate of €129,00. Overall, breakfast is the only areawhere there is room for improvement. Spa only available until 7.30pm, sodidn't get chance to use it.
