Review 1：Rooms are noisy (apartment building); if somebody is talking on the corridor, if somebody is talking in the other room. There were no socket around the table (not too many sockets in the room). Only 2 chairs outside in the balcony, and only 4 inside (apartment is for 6 people).

Review 4：Excellent value, perfect two bed apartment for family with two double beds in one room and one in another. Good view from huge balcony Pools indoor and out, bowling alley. In October it was quite quiet - busier on the weekend.

Review 5：Noisy evenings at the moments spanish people decide to have a drinks, while others getting ready to sleep. Why do management of the hotel let the clients stay at the pool zone at night?! That is annoying for the others!

Review 14：Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights ( self catering apartment ) with our 3 grandchildren.They loved it with the numerous swimming pools and the entertainment provided ( Spanish only, but not a problem for them ).The apartment was clean and certainly adequate for our short stay.Parking could be difficult in high season but we were lucky and didn't move it during our stay.Overall, we would recommend this family frendly Hotel.

Review 15：The town was not friendly and was very crowded. Hotel was a distance from beach. Only access to beach was to park and parking was impossible. Police were towing and fining people.

Review 16：Catered mainly for Spanish - very little interaction with other nationalities. If you didn't speak Spanish the staff were not very useful to you. Particularly the Kids club staff. Cooking facilities very basic. WIFI the worst I've seen in years.

Review 22：Swimming pool closed very early. The internet didn't work although we told the reception several times, they promised to fix it but nothing ever happened. No compensation was offered. Noisy because of the guests sitting outside at the hotels restaurant/bar screaming at 1 o'clock in the at night. The breakfast was a disaster as you had to queue to get in to the dining room, to get a table, to get all kind of food. Eventually we left to have breakfast in a closeby village.

Hotel is not in Almuñecar or La Herradura, it is in Marina del Este, absolutely nothing else around within walking distance.

Review 33：Larger than average bedroom with 2 queen size beds, lots of space, good size balcony, immaculately clean, good choice of food for a buffet restaurant, helpful staff. The Spa is excellent, hottest Steam Room and Sauna I have been in for ages, nice indoor pool with water jets and 2 jacuzzi, good policy of hotel is limited number of people in the Spa at any one time, so not overcrowded. Book your time in advance. Serious bargain at only €8 each.

Review 58：The dining room is set out like a works canteen you have no privacy only 5cm to next table. There is only cheap plastic chairs and tables around the bar no quiet comfortable area to sit. I do believe this is the worst 4 star hotel that I have ever stopped in including two others from the Best group.

Review 59：this was our 3rd stay here, having previously visited during june (much quieter month) but regret our recent july stay was completely different. hotel was badly understaffed for the 1200 guests they had packed during this week. our room was rarely done up earlier than 2pm. bar and restaurant staff were stretched and big queues formed every day whilst guests waited for the only cook manning the hot-plate/grill to attend them. the restaurant was supposed to be open as from 13:15 hrs but if you walked in at this time, the food was still being brought out of the kitchen and sometimes could not keep pace with the flow of guests coming in to eat. some steps leading to the top pool were still broken after 3 years. work had been carried out on one of the light fittings in my room leaving A patch of white cement around it which had not been painted over to blend in with the rest of the wall. hotel entertainment, apart from saturdays was in-house and poor.

Review 65：Apartments are of lower quality than bedrooms with plaster peeling of walls and questionable quality of additional bedding. Service was good as the manager offered free breakfast as compensation which made up for the issues. Parking is a problem in the local area.

Review 72：The position was ok but rather limiting with always a climb to or from.The sheer size of the place made everywhere very noisy and busy. Theremust have been at least a thousand guests. The front desk staff weredisorganised and rather shambolic-not enough staff for the numbers ofpeople wanting attention. Should have mentioned quirks about the roomE.G. the safe before we got up there and read we needed to get info fromthe desk first-it was quite a long way! We were in Herradura for afamily wedding so were in and out of the hotel a lot, it would be adifficult place to relax in for more than a couple of days.

Review 73：The rooms, their size and facilities were excellent value for money. Wewere able to book a few hour longer for our third day as our flight wasin the evening. The pools were also good.

Review 74：Swamped with families and large coach parties..... Eating was like a barnyard: In huge dining area - very noisy + busy. All self-service. BUTLINS holiday camp comes to mind....... Large amounts of processed meats and sugary foods. Reception was most of the time a very long queue..... People ignored no-smoking ban around pools. Very late night chanting/singing (till 1.30am) from the bar/cafe which my room overlooked. Room had no rubbish bin - only in bathroom area.

Review 76：The staff at reception were on the whole extremely abrupt and unhelpful.When we arrived we were put into an already occupied room - no apologymade when they realised what had happened and then I was made to feellike a criminal as I had paid a reservation fee but not the whole amountup front - which I had never been asked to do. The next morning we hadto drive back to Malaga to find the British Consul as all our luggageand my daughter's passport had been stolen at the car hire company onthe way out and needed to download directions. We asked Yolande at thedesk if she could help us by printing these off which she did in aformat so small we could not read it and we were made to feel we werebeing total nuisances by asking her to re-format this and re-print. Itfeels as though the staff at reception are told it is a sackable offenceto smile or engage with guests!. Having said that the staff at receptionon Sunday were pretty helpful. The parking is a nightmare.
