Review 1：No warm food for breakfasts. Very noisy mini bar in room defeated the soundproofing, asked for it to be switched off but we had to lift it out and unplug it ourselves. Bar was deserted each night with a very limited selection of drinks.No hot water on Sunday or explanation. ( This is not unusual when occupancy is low ).

Review 4：Great new, clean, modern, comfortable room, nice bathroom, location within walking distance from old town (15min walk) and right next to Mercadona (grocery store)

Review 5：Slow check in. Location is poor. Clearance site outside. No restaurants nearby. Thankfully Mercadona close by. Hairs on the pillow and on the sheet Shower broken at connection to shower head as result water everywhere including running down the wall. Impossible to shower. Asked for complaint form but no offer of a discount for troubles. Had to ask and then manager came out and remedied matters Bed was like a board. Very very hard Lighting setup in bathroom meant your face was in shadow so impossible for me to shave or for my wife to put on her makeup. No shelf or unit on one side of the bed so glass of water had to go onto the floor

Review 10：I have to say that staying at the NH Campo Cartagena was a great Stay. Yes they are a little far from the city attractions but the stay was great, comfortable and everything worked wonders.

Review 11：Location was slightly out of town, we knew this when we booked and we had a car so the location didnt matter for us. Not sure how easy it would have been if we had to go on public transport, i think it's too far to walk in the heat (20 mins), however I'm pregnant so had it been a cooler time of year it might be ok

Review 12：Lovely hotel, really clean. The basic rooms would be fine for one night but as we were staying 4 nights we decided to upgrade for an extra 40 when we got there, definitely worth the extra to the junior suite. Nice and quiet - didn't hear anyone else in other rooms , junior suite had a lounge area, bedroom and bathroom - no balconies but has large windows you can open. Suggest asking for a room with a view of the park, the other direction overlooks the carpark or the road.

Review 15：A good twenty minute walk into the walled city, which in the high heat was hard work, but worth it. We booked breakfast but cancelled it having seen the variety of hot food on offer.

Review 28：The hotel is in a convenient location for the centre of Cartagena and shopping. Private parking facilities that are free of charge - this is most unusual for a hotel, even the large 5 star ones rarely provide free parking facilities. A definite bonus when visiting with a car. Very clean and comfortable rooms with plenty of space..... and very quiet! Nothing was any trouble for the staff who were really lovely, friendly and most approachable. Excellent breakfast facilities.

Review 32：Hotel is located in a residential area, about 20mins walk to the port,and about same distance to old part of town. We took car into town andused local parking, which was normal city prices, about 1.6 euros perhour. Breakfast was a big disappointment, just glad I didnt book it aspart of package. It cost 9 euros each for cold buffet, unless youtoasted some bread in grill provided. There were slices of fruit,cheese,meat, cereals, cakes, juices. The tea water was from a flask and onlywarm, if milk added it would be cold. The wifi was available in allrooms and worked ok, at times. We were given password and username byhotel but system required us to log in ourselves and we were then givena new username and password. Everytime we wanted to use wifi we had tolog in ,sometimes it worked, sometimes not, gave up on second day askept getting odd messages and unable to log in. Why it was necessary tolog in everytime I cannot see, certainly spoilt the wifi experience forno good reason

Review 33：Easy to find without driving into city, which is not good. We booked asuperior room as prefer double bed and kettle. Greeted by very pleasantreceptionist,spoke good english, we were early but she said she wouldcheck and make sure room was available and had been cleaned. Room wasready so we were booked in and allowed to use the room. Private freeparking which is very good, not sure I would like to leave car on theroad. Room was very good, kingsize bed,kettle, tea and coffee but nomilk There were 2 seats and a small table plus the desk and 2 morechairs. Aircon worked fine and we were also able to open a window.Bathroom, all black, not to my taste but seemed very new,bath withshower over, handbasin and toilet, loads of hotwater and nice whitetowels plus normal extras like shower gel , soap and shampoo etc. Hotelis located in a residential area, about 20mins walk to the port, andabout same distance to old part of town. Review 60：I specifically asked for a non-smoking room while making a reservation and they put us in a room that was heavily smoker-used. When asking to change, there apparently were no non-smoking rooms left, but at least we were offered to go and smell other rooms. One of them was tolerable. Still, a major downfall for us, because the smell in the first room offered was just intolerable. I wonder if there are any clean-air (meaning non-smoking) rooms available in the hotel at all?
