Reviews for Hotel Landgasthof Grüner Baum Reichental
Review 1:It can be a bit hard to find, the roads are very narrow, but the hotel staff makes up for it!
Review 2:The quality of the beds (sooo soft). The location of the Hotel! Very very unique hiking possiblities in Gernsbach. The adjacent Restaurant serves game hunted by the chef! (Very tasty)
Review 3:No comfortable beds. No double bed. Old establishment. It is rather difficult to reach the street within the town & more so to park a car..
Review 4:Breakfast & the attititude of the owners of the pension.
Review 5:Wifi was not working, hotel bar was not open, we had to fumble around in the dark in the TV room to find a light, we ended up having to turn it on at the fuse!!
Review 6:Lovely little town close to Black Forest walks.
Review 7:Parking is quite difficult as the village is formed in a rather steep valley. Separate bathroom and shower.
Review 8:Between Badwildbad (better) and Baden-Baden. Hotellin pitäjänä on somalainen. :)
Review 9:Stairs ( only one flight) could cause some problems for people with mobility problems. But it is a 160 year old hotel.
Review 10:Staff very accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. Convenience of restaurant on site. Private parking.
Review 11:The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is also great, a beautiful and peaceful village in the middle of the nature. The room was very comfortable and cosy. It was the economic one and therefore the bathroom was not within the bedroom. However you have your own shower and own toilet, not shared with any other room. The shower is a little bit small so might be a problem for big people. I will recommend it to my friends!
Review 12:Friendly & Committed Staff Great Environment for Hiking, Cycling, Reflecting... Good South German Quality Meals Taste of the Black Forest Not too far from Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg
Review 13:no complaints about anything
Review 14:proximity to Baden Baden (16km?), old traditional house in a lovely village in the Black Forest. Staff were very friendly, great food too. All in all a lovely place to stay

Review 44:Parking near the hotel was difficult, but that's typical of such a small European town.
Review 45:The staff gave personal attention without smothering. Meals were always home-cooked and well-served.
Review 46:Value for money in every aspect. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is simple but very nice, fresh warm breads, great coffee. Diner in the restaurant is also very good, typically german, nice salads and Schnitzels! Owners are sweet hardworking people with eye for there guests. I definitely will come back!
Review 47:We were so lucky to live in this hotel. People are so friendly and considerate and really make you feel at home. About the environment, the house is in a quiet and beautiful town where it is great to go hiking. The room is clean and guests can use the balling for free! It's great fun! And we have also surprised by the food. I especially enjoy the rum steak and the salad. Overall, the three days were far beyond our expectation. I will highly recommend this hotel to other travelers!
Review 48:the fact you must pay apart for vegetables/pommesfrites etc with breakfast & dinner.
Review 49:the old setting of the house -big metal key hotelchamber, interior-, surrounding view.
Review 50:The breakfast included in the reservation is the basic (or French) breakfast. If you wish for a continental breakfast, there is an additional fee. The bathroom is small and dark, but functional.
Review 51:Overall a nice place in a nice and quite place. It is a family hold business, the owners were welcoming and fluent in English. The rooms are well separated from the restaurant, the latter has a nice atmosphere (but is closed on Mondays).
Review 52:Odd breakfast set up with two rates for different options. Five euros for a coffee and a roll seemed expensive. No issues with quality but unusual not to have a buffet in our experience.
