Review 1：Nice location. Not in old town but just across the bridge from the old town, 5 min walk to the bus and rail stations. I liked breakfast room facing the river. The room is nothing fancy but clean and functional.

Review 2：Breakfast on the weekend was very crowded, and the staff had difficulty coping (e.g., clearing the tables to make space for others; serving coffee/tea). Also, my room was in a separate building from the main building, which made it a little inconvenient to access the breakfast and fitness room.

Review 3：The room looked dated and cheap, partly owing to furniture in poor taste. I found the hotel expensive and not worthy of a four-star rating. The girls at the reception could have been a bit more smiling and welcoming, though I have no big complaint.

Review 11：A few spiders found their way into my room, likely at night as there was no A/C and no screens in the windows. One had made a lovely home in the bathroom window corner, suggesting the room had been cleaned well but not rigorously in a while.

Review 17：The clerk when I checked in was not clear at all in directing me to my room, which was actually in a second building and on the third floor, though it was number 132. He was curt and seemed annoyed when I asked for directions twice. The reason I asked twice, however, was because his directions left out that I needed my electronic key to access the outside door of a "second" building with no hotel name on it and different businesses marked on the door. Once I did manage to get inside, as I mentioned before, room 132 was on the third floor, which makes no sense numerically. Most anyone would find this confusing. In addition, I was not told about wi-fi access at check in, and when I did ask for the information later, was given a sheet all in German that implied that there was a 12 Euro charge per unit. Besides the fact that this was unclear and not the case, why not offer the sheet also in English? My room had an excellent view of the bridge and river, but there was a bar immediately below that filled my un-air- conditioned room with chatter and cigarette smoke often until past 2 am.The last night I was there, crowds were yelling in the street until at least five am. The room had no air conditioning, which was not really a problem in the moderate weather, but mentioning this would have been helpful. The service in the evening at the outside tables was very slow. Slow in getting to the table, and slow in bringing drinks. It was not busy enough to warrant this. Only perhaps six patrons were present. I waited for twenty minutes one evening and was never even spoken to.

Review 18：My room and bed were comfortable, though, as I noted, the bar directly below was often noisy. The view from the room was wonderful, and the breakfasts were very good. Waitstaff at breakfast were very helpful and pleasant. The tables outside were fantastic, but service slow.

Review 19：Close to the old city centre, it was very convenient for walking into town. The room was large enough without being spacious, and the bathroom was a decent size.

Review 21：Apart from one receptionist the welcome was very friendly and reasonable English was spoken. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast included everything you could want including freshly cooked eggs if requested. perfectly placed for walking into this interesting town to explore.

Review 24：The bed a little hard, but we received extra pillows to help. Breakfast was good, but a small area. However, we were allowed to overflow to the bar area which was calmer and we liked the young attendant there. Wifi was okay after dealing with a message that there security certificate expired. I know this can be a setup problem and the staff acted as though "normal".

Review 26：This is a small family-run hotel, but rooms more of a youth hostel hostel style. I didn't have shampoo in the bathroom and one of my lamps didn't work (although they fixed it when I asked). Wi-fi didn't work, but the owner just showed to me his own device where it had shown the connection - and said it should be fine. He wasn't rude, but I felt as if I distracted the man from his family affairs when I asked for help -- and it didn't feel nice. The toilet is outside of the room, but this is as advertised.

Review 41：Common sense gave way to blockheaded designer. Towel rack away from big efficient radiator placed almost too high to reach for average height. Very good drawer space (unlike another Tubingen hotel once reviewed here) has access blocked by large green circular leather-effect stool, which, once moved, gets badly in the way and gives no back support if working at the work surface. Pretty cloth covers to chairs in dining room look nice but will inevitably suffer from food spillage and wear and probably need to be reconsidered, although excellent cleaning effort noted after breakfast.

The glasses provided in the room were "cleaned" with a less than clean looking cloth by the maid servicing the room. In other words, these glasses (water, wine, and beer) were not sanitized.

Close to the old bridge across the river so only a few hundred metres from the centre of old town.Hotel garden right on the riverbank with lovely view of river and town. Good breakfast. Our room was lovely and overlooked the river. Public car park adjacent to hotel was convenient. Easy access from motorway and so much easier than crossing river into old town which is a maze of one way streets and pedestranised areas.

Review 61：We stayed here because of the river but the room didn't have a balcony or even big windows, so couldn't see it. The staff we sour, from being thrown a key on checking to sitting in the riverside bar and not getting served for a hour, no one seemed to care at all. Go somewhere else

Review 63：The beds and bed sheets were not clean. Stains and some other disgusting things . The shower isn't very comfortable as the shower water hots u in an odd angel m I just didn't like it . Price is quite high in comparison to other places . We also used the dry cleaning service in the hotel which wasn't cheap and they did a terrible job .
