Reviews for Bed and Breakfast Åløkke

Review 1:the beds were in the loft up a ladder which was difficult for one of our party, so she slept on the couch which was not made up It was tricky getting suitcases up the ladder. Had to cook our own breakfast

Review 2:Nicely appointed apartment, rustic farm location, clean, good kitchen and reasonable bathroom, quiet location, close to Nyborg

Review 3:The breakfast was a bit slow because all guests had to prepare their own meal and there are only facilities for 1 person. So you have to be patient during breakfast and be prepared to improvise.

Review 4:Nice room with excellent bed!

Review 5:It would have been nice to have a private bathroom or at least a private WC, as they are both in the same room just next to the kitchen, so not very practical in the morning when there are 6 people that needs to use the bathroom. The bed (matrass) was really too soft

Review 6:Located in a very nice/charming old farm, very well renovated and the host was very friendly

Review 7:Excellent and very clean! Nice rooms and superbeds.Breakfast very good, fine to prepare it yourself. This bed and breakfast could be recommended to anyone. One of the best

Review 8:1. Large and clean rooms 2. Very nice host 3. Wi-fi worked very well 4. Fridge was full of food 5. Interior patio was large and clean 6, Beatiful coutryside surroundings

Review 9:The B&B is economically optimized (or better said exploited). When we arrived we got instructions on how to make the breakfast. How we needed to fry deep-freezed buns, to cook eggs, to prepare coffee, to fill the dishwasher. Our room was next to the TV room. Luckily the other guests had the emotional intelligence to switch off the TV when we went to sleep. There are 2 non-private bathrooms for 3 rooms. Not really hygienic and for sure not of the 21st century. We needed to go to the bathroom via the television room and the breakfast room (kitchen with table). I can understand that a B&B needs to be economically viable, but there are limits in economic optimization. For 3 fully occupied rooms for a total revenue of 240 Euro (3x80) I think that more could be done by the owners. The B&B for sure does not deserve an 8.7 score. We stayed luckily for one night only. The pity is that the building is beautiful and could be turned in something better with a little bit of effort. We will not go there again for sure. We even want to pay more, but want quality

Review 10:Nothing

Review 11:Small dislike goes to the bed which was to soft for me (however causing no harm to my back so Still ok). Also some veggies would enrich the breakfest.

Review 12:Great location close to motorway which makes it a good stop and base to visit Fyn. Very quiet place with nice family atmosphere. The place was Very tidy. Family room was spacious. I fully recommend this place

Review 13:Friendly and perfectly managed Bed and Breakfast. It's in a wonderful building and landscape around it. Quiet and relaxing here. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on, a real treat. Everything felt fresh and clean. I enjoyed seeing the local Danish neighborhood and farms in the area, on the short drive from the freeway.

Review 14:Would be nice if they would serve fresh bread in the morning instead of the breads out of the deepfreeze you have to warm up yourself.

Review 15:Very nice welcome, Lone is a very kind woman. Beautiful house with beautiful roses in the garden. Room was so nice, beds fantastic and for that price! I would recommend it to everybody!

Review 16:None.

Review 17:As you only search after quiet, perfect clean and friendly place, Alokke B&B is a goal. You can also meet and feel passing time which influance the place. The courtyard is brought to you from previous centuries. The trees avenue says you many stories.
