Review 1：On our return, we booked in again on 3rd January 2016 - albeit ad hoc - as traffic on the motorway was horrendous and our detour to Tubigen was no problem. However, they had problems with the heating & water in all the NEW rooms, so we were given an "old" room which was much smaller & not as comfortable. Added to which the radiator in the bathroom continued to rumble & run water ALL Night which was disturbing to say the least. When mentioned on departure, no apology / compensation (if appropriate) was made other than a statement implying that we had got the room for a single tariff instead of a double tariff. The attitude was somewhat curt.

Review 2：The NEW rooms are Excellent. We chose to stay at this hotel again (en route for Austria) based on our stay in 2014. We stayed for 1 night on the 19th December 2015. The breakfast is also 1st class and the Car park is secure.

Review 3：I had a modern room in the new wing at the back and despite lots of room, there was no desk or desk-chair to work at (the nice old rooms in the front of the hotel have desks, as do rooms in most hotels.) This was a problem for me.

Review 4：Location (between train station, old town and university), staff (friendly), breakfast buffet (excellent), ambience (fine), price (very competitive). And two excellent restaurants in-house! I visit Tübingen once a year for professional work and always stayed in a nearby hotel that was full this time. It will be Krone from now on.

Review 5：An old fashioned hotel, with modern conveniences, the Krone sits in an ideal location to explore the city. To be sure, construction on a nearby department store woke us up at 6 am, but that was not the fault of Hotel Krone.

Review 8：Hotel is a bit more expensive, but this is Switzerland. Wifi only worked for short time, it was being repaired - not a big deal for us as we had good coverage with our carrier.

Review 9：This is a great location, walkable from train station with luggage and it is near the sites you want to see in town. Staff very helpful and breakfast was good. Hotel is older but has been completely remodeled. Loved the balcony.

Review 11：I booked rooms here beause they advertised air conditioning, only to be given rooms without air conditioning and had to use two fans Rload oconstruction made it difficult to reach.

Review 12：We had sent you a message to say that because of illness of the driver on the autobahn near Stuttgart we were unable to reach your hotel and we advised you that we accepted that we would have to lose our payments already made to you. It would have been courteous to have received at least an acknowledgement.

Review 13：They advertise that they have air conditioning but they DO NOT, they told us it was such nice weather we should open the windows... It 93F! If you don't turn on the AC at 93F when do you? We had to leave the windows open all night and it was extremely noisy, the windows acually said keep windows closed because they block the noise from the street and that there was AC. We saw no vents or anything so we thought they didn't really have AC. It was a very hot noisy night. Very disappointed.

Review 15：Booking.com says that the room we reserved would have air-conditioning, but the air conditioning was only by the floor, not adjustable in the room, and it did not appear to run during the day. It was a very hot week when we visited, and we could not sleep at night because it was so hot in the room. Additionally, the room we received was on the street side, and there were loud cars and music until 1 am, so we could not leave the windows open to get cooler air.

Review 17：We had very poor reception of internet in our room and had to go to lounge downstairs affording no privacy. If possible would wish the breakfast included could have been extended to later in the day. Our course we were on did not finish until late and we were not able to have breakfast.

Review 19：Some of the modernization had some design flaws that are mildly annoying: the open shower in our room made a pool of water in front of the toilet. The electric shutters are slow, which meant waiting while they made their way up far enough that we could go out on the balcony that was attached to our room. (It looked as if only two rooms had balconies.)

Review 27：On my first stay, a staff member told me that there was no air conditioning. I had to stay in a noisy room in which the heat could only be relieved by opening a window and letting the noise in. I feel I was lied to by this staff member.

Review 61：MADNESS. I stayed four nights. Tiny wardrobe OK for hanging, but, believe it or not, NOWHERE to unpack and put one's clothes. Choices: Drape belongings all over room or rootle in case every time you need clean clothes. I told Reception. They said if I had a better class of room, there would have been a chest of drawers or shelves. This is NOT how a big modern hotel should disrespect the customers who earn them a living.

Review 67：An old four star house with style, every floor offers a different designline. For those, who have seen too much anonymous chain hotels. Althoughlocated in the city-centre, the hotel has a reasonable priced car park(extremely valuable in Tübingen). The breakfast is highly commended topeople seeing it as a main meal of the day.

Review 68：The value for prices is very bad, the hotel is old - for everything you do you pay extra. e.g. if you want to use the wireless, have a proper coffee with breakfast, park your car. We were very dissapointed with the rooms, they were old, did not feel clean and had no view. We felt we spent far too much money on this place.
