Review 2：it not just about the hotel, this is about both the hotel and the restaurant. As a combination it really works, worth a stay.

Review 7：In the pictures the hotel seemed somewhere rather isolated from all sides, whereas in reality it is rather crowded in a normal residential neighbourhood. Prices a bit high for Germany (but, then again, large, nice room).

Review 15：Very off-the-beaten track. At my time of arrival (1730) the hotel was in darkness with no sign of any staff or activity. They arrived half an hour later when the restaurant, which seems to be the main activity, opened for business.

Review 18：unusual hotel in Schwarzwald, very pretty & clean. goof breakfast, very attentive staff. location is perfect for exploring Schwarzwald, as well as spas in baden baden. have stayed 3 times and would certainly recommend.

Review 19：some noise, although it was limited to the less busy times of the day (gardening- but I guess that is unavoidable as the place needs to be maintained) and the early evening (cocktail party just outside of suite we were staying in- however we intended to stay out so the management couldn't know we would be back earlier and the party finished before we came back from dinner, so it was no real bother)- no wifi, so if one person wants to rest (no typing noise in the background) and the other go into the garden and use the laptop to go online for work purposes or for entertainment.. this is not possible-

Review 20：lovely garden which makes you think you are far away from anywhere, although the hotel is in a residential zone with houses around, great smells from their Tapas restaurant that was very popular (booking recommended), amazing imported tiles in Tapas place and in rooms, pretty fabric on couch, beautiful bathroom, well-thought out design for room (eg: irregular brickwork at end of walls to give it more style/ kitchen corner, nice view towards garden and mountain), very warm welcome, well maintained garden/property, help with printouts & free internet which I really appreciated- Nice to have been given a downstairs room, considering we came with our baby and a pram! All staff attentive to their guests- Some DVDs and CDs available in the rooms- Some gummi bears in the rooms, fresh apples as a welcome, a little good bye present after payment, nice thought-
