Reviews for Centro Hotel Klee am Park

Review 1:The room was a bit dated. I do not think there has been a major upgrade in a while. However, the room was fine and comfortable and very affordable.

Review 2:The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is ideal... within walking distance of many of Wiesbaden's greatest attractions: The Kurhaus, the MarktKirche and MarktPlatz, the Fussganger Zone, the Russian Church, ...

Review 3:elevator not working! was asked to help myself with my luggage to my room on the second floor. On the way up I saw a sign pasted on the elevator door- sorry our elevator not working- please ask the reception staff to help you take your luggage up. I was however ordered to help myself. I resent this.

Review 4:very beautiful area, large and clean rooms

Review 5:This is the third time in just over 2 years we have stayed and on each occasion the lift was "temporarily" out of order! There must be something seriously wrong with it if it is breaking down with such regularity. Many guests were disgruntled - indicating they would not return. A great shame because the hotel is in a great location with excellent staff.

Review 6:Friendly staff and comfotable rooms

Review 7:Great location to discover everything on foot, a short walk to the Kurpark/Casino and inner city. We were able to leave our car at the hotel (free parking, which was a pleasant change to most city hotels these days!) Very accommodating reception staff who offered changing our room if we specifically needed WI FI (the room we'd been allocated on the ground floor had only intermittent internet reception).

Review 8:Although their reception staff were always helpful, there was absolutely no information in the room, from TV.,Wifi, or food and drink. Having arrived late at night, it was 2 days before I realised that they had a breakfast room - and food !. Also an empty Mini.bar cabinet was hardly inspiring during the hot weather !!

Review 9:Its location close to the two parts of Wiesbaden's main Parks was great (Owls hooting at night; Red Squirrels running about by day. But most of all its easy reach of Wiesbaden;s massive Rheingau WienFest was most "convenient" Also, ample and convenient car parking

Review 10:Closed restaurant & bar ! Boring evenings . Wi-fi is a big joke! You have to get a special code every while that stops every otber minute !!! No wi-fi around as claimed

Review 11:Excellent location , most of the staff are nice & friendly . Boring evenings , closed restaurant & bar !!

Review 12:Some of the reception staff has very bad behaviour with customer and we request to extend one day he said no availability although on website is available and this it was unacceptable

Review 13:Not good hotel

Review 14:The Wifi connection was really poor and the room had a funny smell (was gone after opening the window). Some remote rooms need you to climb some stairs, not easy with luggage. No ventilation in bathroom. Parking was full. Some noise (vacuuming noise, and if you leave the window open, church bells, ducks, and people discussing just below our window (nothing to intense though).

Review 15:Location, a few steps meters away from the center and the thermal center. Very clean, nice view on a garden, the room was well distributed and the furniture very convenient. Bathroom was nice too. Very attractive price

Review 16:Inside room we didn't have any fan etc... The room felt like a sauna cause outside was nearly 40 C...

Review 17:Bed was really good! Wifi too. Parking ok! Staff was nice and friendly!

Review 18:Minor repairs would be recomended. For example the bathroom door was a bit old and need a good shove to close Wifi was free but bad/weak. But than again, i haven't found a German hotel where WiFi was decent

Review 19:Nice quiet location close to the Bathhouse/Casino Park. The room has an old style kind of look, but in a good way(my room had a small hallway at the entrance wich is something not really comon, especially in 3* hotels. I liked it). Rooms are spacious and quiet. All persons at the reception desk were pleasant and helpfull

Review 20:was a bit oldfahioned from the 80's i find it nice , the location realy grat next to park and few minutew walk to the city center , staff friendly and helpful and the coffee i really like it in the morning :))

Review 21:Outdated rooms in desperate need of upgrading TV and lights went off automatically after 20 minutes No working outlets Comfort Room no different than regular room

Review 22:Friendly employees

Review 23:The walls are as thin as paper and I could clearly hear the conversation going on in the next room. My room was located over the main drive so for three nights I heard nothing but loud talking, doors slamming, suitcases rolling and smokers smoking away. There is also no air-conditioning so be prepared in summertime to sleep on top of the bedding, sweating profusely.

Review 24:The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay exceptional. Whether questions about navigating the city or finding things to do, they answered all of my questions and allowed me to discover some wonderful parts of Wiesbaden tourists generally don't see. The breakfast is wonderful with a huge selection, although a bit expensive at 8+ Euros. Better walking 5 minutes to a Bäckerei nearby and spending 2 Euros.

Review 25:Amenities are poor, with not even shampoo being provided. The bar is closed even though the building prominently displays the sign. It used to be a thriving place a few years ago but no more. Morale of staff appears to be low notwithstanding their competence.

Review 26:Hotel is a comfortable one to stay at and the staff are generally friendly.

Review 27:No Wi-Fi connect in our room, need to use wifi at lobby. Refrigerator was out of order. Staff should have service training again, don't understand why they keep long face all day.

Review 28:Hotel is a bit old but for a weekend break one needs just to sleep and have a shower, so no complaints from our part. Stuff was nice and helpful and location is just excellent, walking distance to everything. We didn't have breakfast.

Review 29:The parks nearby the hotel with all those animals and birds. The hotel is good to comfortably see Wiesbaden. It can also be useful as a starting point to visit the Rhine Valley with all its castles, Loreley etc.

Review 30:- parking is quite a problem on a weekend as the free lots are full. we had to park in 10-15 min away - no bar or restaurant at all. the nearest food is 15 min walk - wi-fi does not work in the rooms or if you move 10 meters away from the reception

Review 31:Nice hotel, comfortable, good location. Helpful, though pedantic staff.

Review 32:They claim to have free parking, but the spots are not guaranteed. I ended up paying for a spot in the parking garage nearby. It wasn't a problem logistically, I had just not planned on spending money on parking. The wifi was also not exactly free and unlimited. It kept kicking us off.

Review 33:I was attending a concert at the Kuhaus and it was absolutely perfect.

Review 34:Parking lot was full when we arrived- had to park around the corner in a garage for 13 Euros for the afternoon

Review 35:Comfortable, spacious room had fantastic view of the city, directly next to the Kurpark, and for a fantastic price for a weeknight stay.

Review 36:no restaurant available after breakfast

Review 37:excellent and beautiful location willingness of every member of the staff who went out of their way to please lovely room with plenty of light and two balconies this was my 2nd time staying here and won't be my last

Review 38:The Wifi / Wlan was a joke - did not work. They (The hotel) did promise to have it fixed though.

Review 39:Friendly staff, nice ambience. Would stay here again.

Review 40:Fantastic location direct on the park. Not fancy, but definitely comfortable. I would guess the hotel is due for renovation in the next couple of years.

Review 41:Right in the centre of the city Low price Good wifi

Review 53:Quiet rooms, good internet connection, friendly staff, great location!

Review 54:Lack of parking.

Review 55:Friendly staff.

Review 56:I guess- broked elevator is main issue :) but that was not a problem at all.

Review 57:Location, price per night and city scape view at the morning- superb.

Review 58:Room was dated and the elevator did not work the 4 days we were there.

Review 59:Great location and very nice staff

Review 60:Breakfast,friendly staff ,helpful .

Review 61:value for the money, clean, location. It is quite convenient to go to the city center and the train station from the hotel.

Review 62:6th floor room and elevator broken. Good exercise :)

Review 63:Location. Right next to Kurhaus where Rheingau music festival was held.

Review 64:Excellent place, offers more than what you pay. Nice and kind people working.

Review 65:The lift was broken down, but not their fault

Review 66:Concierge was superb and very helpful in every way

Review 67:It is a pity that there is no restaurant.

Review 68:Location of hotel and friendliness of staff.

Review 69:Peaceful location, but near to walk to town centre parks and Thermal Baths.

Review 70:No air conditioner,we had to open the window, but it didn't help much.Breakfast was ok but milk was sour(

Review 71:Shower was a bit funky.

Review 72:Old world hotel with charm.

Review 73:location is excellent

Review 74:no A/C. definitely not prepared for hot days

Review 75:The bed and the bath

Review 76:staff --- location

Review 77:Restaurant and bar was closed. Would not recommend hotel if it is hot, since no air condition.

Review 78:Price absolutely ok, central location

Review 79:Location

Review 80:The carpet is very old and not too clean.

Review 81:We had a great view from our balcony.l

Review 82:Very good location, near beautiful park and center of the town. Very friendly and supportive staff. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Review 83:Lots to do and see. Loved to look at the architecture.

Review 84:Showerhead was broken

Review 85:minibar out of order...

Review 86:everething

Review 87:Dirty balcony, had to request soap

Review 88:Staff and location

Review 89:No bar and parking could be a challenge

Review 90:Very close to downtown Wiesbaden.

Review 91:dinner and breakfast

Review 92:location,car park

Review 93:no lemon for tea available for breakfest. Also I missed sausages for breakfest.

Review 94:Location, window view, free wifi,

Review 95:Staff was a little less than happy. Could have used more pillows. Shower was small.

Review 96:Wonderful included breakfast. Rooms were large.

Review 97:The views from bedroom. A Quiet Place. Very good breakfast. Parking available

Review 98:Decor was dated--looked very 80s.

Review 99:Location, price.

Review 100:It was close to Casino & center of the city.

Review 101:Wifi on 5th floor was poor.

Review 102:Nice hotel, just off the main streets so convenient but quiet.

Review 103:a little bit old furniture (smell of old furnitures)

Review 104:free parking clean hotel nice personel close to city center comfort

Review 105:Good location beside Kurpark and very short walk to the old town. Free parking on site Good breakfast

Review 106:Parking possibilities are somewhat complicated

Review 107:The room and bathroom facilities. Friendliness of the receptionists

Review 108:They put us on the top floor in an extremely small room, the windows could barely open and there was no ventilation. The room was so hot that a chocolate bar melted within 15 minutes of sitting on desk. Even had to ask for a fan for room but did not help. Had to check out early to find another hotel with windows able to open enough to get air.

Review 109:Room was on first floor with window facing dirty laundry storage. In the heat of the summer, this is a bad plan!

Review 110:Breakfast was a good value for the money. Room was very dated. You get what you pay for.

Review 111:Although we had booked a superior room, it only had one chair and a stool and no furniture on the balcony which overlooked the city. I would advise to check the facilities in the room before booking. Hotel generally needs an update.

Review 112:Location of hotel excellent, only 5 minutes walk to the Old Town.

Review 113:The water ran brown in the bathroom and the shower sprayed outside of the curtain and got the floor wet no matter how it was adjusted. The decor was a bit dated.

Review 114:The hotel was in a perfect location for an event we were attending in the city. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

Review 115:watching TV from bed was rather uncomfortable, the lighting was too dark ( these are minor discomforts)

Review 116:size of room, balconies, breakfast, very friendly waitress early in the morning, near center of town, walking distance to center, quiet surroundings

Review 117:Nothing really - it's not 5 star but a good place at a fair price

Review 118:Good central location but quiet, nice comfortable hotel - it's 3 star so this is what you get - good value - would stay again and recommend

Review 119:No bar or dinner restaurant.

Review 120:Location very near to city centre. A few minutes walk. Very very nice and large room. Classic interior with much wood works. Bathroom good. Bedding good. Parking nearby. Streetparking free over the weekend.

Review 121:It was not nice smell in the room - may be after remont or old smoking smell. A bit old equipment in the bathroom. The price has to be lower for this quality.

Review 122:Close to the down town - 10 minutes by feet, calm, very tasty breakfast, friendly staff. Wi-Fi for free was surprise!

Review 123:The bed was very uncomfortable and bothered my back. My back neverbothers me when I sleep at home. Also pillows were a joke. They werebasically a pillow case with hardly nothing inside. You could fold thesethings in quarters but still were terrible. We borrowed 2 from mydaughter who lives in Wiesbaden.

Review 124:Room was very spacious with full bath and wardrobe to store all ourclothing. Not that way in another hotel we stayed at in Wiesbaden. Alsoroom was made up promptly each day.
