Review 9:I liked this hotel - it was a four-star property with great prices and the friendliest staff. They greet you with the warmest smiles at the front door every time you walk past. Absolutely lovely hotel with modern amenities, very clean, and fabulous staff.
Review 10:Hotels better days are behind it as getting run down somewhat. It didn't bother me personally but it may bother some.
Review 11:Very courteous efficient staff. Location outside of busy center yet center can be easily reached within a few minutes. Also good starting point if you want to see angor wat etc. I had a large room on 4th floor with balcony and decent views. The swimming pool is large enough for lengths and breakfast had a large selection. Hotel price is fair.
Review 12:there is nothing we did not enjoy.

Review 28:I liked everything about this hotel - it was a four-star property with great prices and the friendliest staff. They greet you with the warmest smiles at the front door every time you walk past. Absolutely lovely hotel with modern amenities, very clean, and fabulous staff.
Review 29:great allover experience. comfortable- big rooms/bath, very friendly staff with good english skills. guided-trip around angkor managed by the hotel was simple perfect. highly recommended 4 starhotel
Review 30:There were bugs in my bed. The breakfast buffet was virtually empty by the time I had breakfast at 9am.
Review 31:Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. My room was large and nicely decorated.
Review 32:Inadequate clothes storage in the bedrooms - 2 small drawers only - and no coathangers at all. A long way from the main market area ($3 Tuk Tuk ride each way). Swimming pool being maintained by very noisy workmen showing total disregard for resident guests on 2 days. Pool closed on one day (high season!). Variable service, from excellent (bell boys) to just passable.
Review 33:Nice pool - when available. Spacious rooms with bath/shower. Tuk Tuk always available for getting to central area. Interesting local market next door.
Review 34:- Lights turned on during the night in the room (there is a control panel where everything is controlled) - Airco turned off during the night This seemed to be an exeption though.
Review 35:- Luxurious - Clean - Spacious - Excellent breakfast (they even prepared a breakfast box for our sunrise to Angkor Wat) - Got a free foot massage! - Very helpfull and nice staff
Review 36:The first room I was given was very noisy - heavy building woks. Changedroom but no reduction in costs. Lobby very noisy with large groups ofshouting tourists who took no notice of inconveniencing others. Thehotel is very expensive compared with others who are much moreconveniently place near down-town area. The expensive room cost wasincreased by the cost of transportation. Everyone took advantage of thetourists charging excessively compared with downtown and demanding largetips - even quoting what was expected. Breakfast was poor especially iftaken towards the end of the time allowance (eg between 9 and 10 am) -food was no longer fresh and in some cases had become plolluted andinedible eg fruit and yogurt had become 'fizzy' and when pointedout to the staff they merely removed it but did not rplace it
Review 37:Not much - the whole experience was marred by excessive charges anddemands for large tips
Review 38:Cleanliness and maintenance were not up to our expectations, and breakfast was chaotic. Food was not bad at the other meals but organization of the restaurant was poor, we had to wait long time to be serve and dishes arrived at different times. It was a shame as with a better organization the quality level could significantly raise both for the hotel and the restaurant. A new wing was under construction for the hotel therefore quite noisy during day hours.
Review 39:We stayed four nights at Royal Empire Hotel to visit Angkor temples. For a family of three we had a very large and well furnished room with two queen size beds. The pool was nice with a good bar and snack service, and staff was friendlly. The Manager was extremely helpful in organizing our stay and visits to the temples with plenty of advice, as well as a small celebration for my wife's birthday. Very competitive rates, good value for money.
Review 40:a bit dark in the hotel main lobby
Review 41:cleanliness and comfort
Review 42:The smell of the linens.
Review 43:Big comfortable rooms. The staff who are very helpful and accommodating.
Review 44:Nil.
Review 45:Staff very helpful, food was good. Easy to get around including temples and town, would definitely stay there again.
