Review 1：Bathroom very small & smelt the drains - had to put plugs in drain holes.Shower too small & water went everywhere on the floor. No comfy seating, only dining chairs. No views.

Review 6：The room was perfect and the kitchen was very well equipped. The location in Cala Figuera is good and the hotel is just above a little supermarket. Moreover the village of Cala Figuera is beautiful.
Review 7：We stayed in 2 in a studio (for max 3 people) for about ten days at the beginning of September 2015. The room was clean and quite spacious for us with quite new IKEA furniture and very comfortable beds. The separate bathroom had shower and an hair dryer (not the best model though!). There was also a small balcony looking out on the street with table and chairs we used some evenings to dine. The kitchen worked fine and it was equipped with decent kitchenware. The flat TV was small, but you shouldn't go to Mallorca to watch TV! Air conditioning seemed quite new as well and worked good during the few nights we needed it. There were at least 4 different Wi-Fi available and the connection was good even if streaming wasn't always ok. The only flaw was the non drinkable (and quite salty!) water, but this is an issue which still affect most if the island unfortunately. Last but not least the host was a very kind man always helpful if necessary. If you like a quiet place with a fascinating little harbour where to relax in the east coast of mallorca near all the best "cale" of the island, we definitely suggest this one!

Review 12：-the Hotel is located very far from everything, you can't survive without renting a car, and this should be mentioned, i paid 270 Euro for 4 days hotel + 320 Euro for 4 days car rental, if you come to mallorca, you need to see all the beautiful beaches and you cant do that from cala figuera...at least if u dont have car u need to stay in crowdy place in mallorca where you can find all the suitable transportation -No elevator for 2nd floor -2 single bed for our weeding anniversary -the size of the room is very small and doesnt look like thee one on thee website.

Review 14：Position of the air condition: it blows to your head while you are in the bed. Remote controler of the air condition is locked in the box with very limited contols accesible (on/off and temeprature set). Sometimes WiFi fell out due to the server problems.

Review 21：The walls and the doors are extremely thin!! You can hear anything inthe next room or outside plus the housekeeping staff makes a lot ofnoise early in the morning. Ear plugs work. No English tv channels Noplaces to have breakfast nearby (maybe it was because we were there inMay, not high season but at around 10 am all the restaurants wereclosed, plus I believe if they were even open they don't servebreakfast) so you need to go to Santanyi which is 10 min by car (Yes youneed a car in Mallorca!), there are many beautiful small cafes. OnSaturdays there is the local market in Santanyi where you can findlocals selling food, vegetables, fruit and clothes etc but finding aparking space on Saturday is really hard. Watch for the yellow lines,you can't park on yellow lines! We've been to Santanyi both onweekdays and Saturday and I can say I definitely prefer the weekdayswhere you can really enjoy the town:)
Review 22：Cala Figuera is a really cosy, small village very close to Santanyi.There are a couple of nice restaurants looking across the"cala". There are some utencils, kettle and even a microwavein the room so if you're planning to eat in you can do so easily.There is a Spar just downstairs. The mattress was one of the mostcomfortable ones I've ever seen in my life (can't say the sameabout the pillows though, I guess it's a traditional Mallorcanpillow; very narrow, thin and long)

Review 28：we had a very nice appartment on the top floor with a huge terrace all to ourselves. In the first floor of the building is a Spar supermarket where you can buy next to everything. the kitchen was fully equipped. Cala Figuera is a nice little village with a spectacular marina and a couple of good restaurants. Besides that there is not much to do, so you better bring a car with you. All in all a good value for money.

Only 2 news channel in English..the rest is in german or spanish. the shower hangs tight in the corner, so you have to take the shower while holding it. its should hang in the middle ofcourse ! not good logic ! small, but nice looking bathroom.

Very clean place. Nice little mini kitchen to have Cold Water and some food for the good hiking around there.

Each room has a good sized balcony and facilities for breakfast including a coffee machine. The manager is really friendly and helpful, and helped make my stay fun and enjoyable!

Friendly and helpful owner. Location in Cala Figuera is nicely close to the absolutely pitoresque harbour (2 min walk), but hotel surroundings not so attractive. Nice with small supermarket, incl. fresh bakeoff bread for breakfast, just downstairs from the hotel.
Review 64：not at all soundproof. You could hear everything from next room. Smelly. Toilet was dripping. No privacy on the balkony. Terrible view. No relaxing atmosphere. Poor Wi-Fi. --> Would not recommend to stay for several days. OK for one or two nights.

Review 67：The apartment was excellent value for money in a very good location , a few minutes walk to the lovely harbour. It was basic but served our purpose . We were very impressed with how clean it was and how comfortable the beds were. The owner was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the island , such as where to go and where the best restaurants are. We went out of season in February when the mornings and evenings were cold but the apartment had good heating .Very satisfied.

Review 69：What gives a good mark to hostal is location: Cala Figuera could be easily named Cala Romantica or Cala Tranquila. Our room was spacious, with enough space for the morning breakfast on the balcony. Plastic table and chairs on the balcony were clean. Part of the service could be treated also supermarket in the same building where you can supply yourself with delicious panes, ciabatas, pasteles(pastries) and other food of Spanish origin (jamon crudo, Don Simon 100% fresh squezed orange juice, ...). The Hostal gives you also a brochure what is a must-see in and around Cala Figuera. You are adviced where to eat, in addition of Hostal's recommendation where to eat good (Mallorcan) food, I recommend also restaurant La petite iglesia with good French cuisine which is located in old Cala Figuera church: it is not so crowded as other restaurants and a good alternative to them because it's a little different choice of food. No parking problems around Hostal. Cala Figuera is also a good base for discovering the eastern part of the island: the nearby town-centres of Santanyi and Felanitx are charming, with good/qualitative choice of (souvenir) shops.
Review 70：However, 2 twin beds can not be moved in 1 double so that they do not slithered. Cooking facilities include microwave and kettle but it would be better to have also electric stove with burners.

Living above a shop made breakfast-shopping very simple - there was a great selection of warm fresh bread and pastries in the morning. Accommodation was not too far from the small/ quiet and pretty harbour- area.

I think management could splurge a bit and instead of those 30 Euro mattresses update them for better quality ones. I don't think it would break their bank! I agree with other comments that their supermarket is overpriced, but convenient to get just a few things. If you drive to the near inland towns you will find cheaper supermarkets.

Review 88：I was a bit misslead and thought there was full kitchen equipment even in the hostel rooms. Which there wasn't. Cala figuera is nice, for a few days. And you must have a Car available. Cala figuera is full of places that are closed, and I got the feeling that it had it's glory days a few years ago. I would not recommend to shop in Mar Blau shop because they are 20% more expensive than the shop located across the street, which also have more products.
