Villas Del Mar sells fast on our site. Each of these villas features a private outdoor pool and terrace. Just over a quarter mile from Puerto Calero Marina in southern Lanzarote, they offer great views of the Atlantic Ocean and mountains.
Each villa has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. There is a living room with a sofa, TV and DVD player.
The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge, microwave and washing machine. There is also a teakettle and a coffee maker.
It is possible to rent a car at Villas Del Mar, and Lanzarote Airport is 8 miles away.

Review 1：The beds inside and outside the villa very uncomfortable. No air conditioning which was unbearable at times as the temperatures were reaching 34 degrees. The jacuzzi in the swimming pool did not work and it was difficult to see any staff, my husband went to the office six times before he could pay the bill.
Review 2：Lovely villa in a beautiful spot but lacked the extra touch which would make it value for money.
Review 3：Despite advising our Eta the villa wasn't ready. We were told we could leave our baggage and it would be available in 1_2hrs. After being up since 4am at 1500hrs what was wanted was a lay down. The fridge had previous occupants left overs in it although they were cleared when this was pointed out. Had to request the pool was cleaned and no filter pump worked fir the week we were there. Linen was not changed during our week stay despite the write up stating it's changed every three days

Review 5：The villa was very comfortable with good facilities. The staff were there if you needed them and were very friendly and helpful.The surroundings were peaceful making the holiday experience most relaxing. Short walk to bars and restaurants of which there is a reasonable choice. There is also one local supermarket.
Review 6：Great quality Villa. The family running the facility were very helpful and friendly. Puerto Valero is also a really classy location superb for just chilling out.
Review 7：The beds are not good but are going to be replaced in the coming months apparently. Only wifi at reception, but ideal for digital detox!
Review 8：Spacious house, very clean. Always a spot to sit in the sun and in the shadow on the terraces. Puerto Calero is an excellent location to enjoy views, nature and explore the island.
Review 9：The pool was a major disappointment. The water was freezing and obviously unheated. The skimmers did not appear to work, and the surface of the water was always covered with dead insects. The base of the pool was stained and unpleasant, as was the surrounding concrete. The depth markings had worn away. The pool needed complete renovation. We were told the solar panels weren't working properly. The reception area was always closed. To speak to reception staff they had to be summoned by phone - not very convenient. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, eg no bread knife or dishcloth or cleaning materials supplied.
Review 10：The location of the villa was handy for the marina with its shops and restaurants, and it was close to the other larger resorts. The views from the villa were great. The double bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were of a good standard.
Review 11：The pool wasn't enjoyable, the cleaning chemicals were very strong. And the 2 out of 3 beds were very uncomfortable. The Staff were very friendly, when they could be found.

Review 13：Owners not around for check-in and not a reliable source for local information, so a welcome pack in Villa with taxi info; cashpoints; hints/tips of whats around would have been nice; but you soon find out for yourself. There was a local market I believe most weekends, so both Cash machines we knew of in Marina were both emptied of Cash by the time we went to them and not filled up until Monday morning (the sort of info that would be handy in a welcome pack to forewarn you)
Review 14：This place is perfect for couples to relax (bit too quiet for children). Villa has everything that you need from a self catering viewpoint - not that we did any cooking apart from the odd breakfast in the morning sunshine as the villa is located just a short 5 min walk down to Puerto Calero marina - which is the most chilled out place you can imagine, full of nice cafes; restaurants; bars and boutiques - all our meals were really nice; great choice and great value. Absolutely no hassling as you leisurely stroll around. Don't take any notice of people commenting on un-heated pools - the weather is so hot that you really appreciate cooling down - once you've been in a few seconds and it feels like a bath. If you want to take a 10 min taxi ride into the more lively Puerto Del Carmen, then there is a taxi rank en route to marina - most times taxis are waiting there or a short wait.

Review 17：The whole booking.com advert is mis-leading. This is NOT a hotel as alluded to throughout the booking form. There was nobody available on arrival to welcome us despite having emailed them 7 days before as requested with our flight details , I have no idea who the lady was who did eventually show us to our apartment' as she spoke no english but she did manage to get hold of the caretaker on the phone . This was a common theme throughout the week with at least half a dozen more families arriving and lots of confusion over where their rooms where,we ended up acting as concierge. The reception was hardly ever manned and not at regular times so catching anyone was very hit and miss. The toilet in the main bathroom was broken and it took 3 days before anyone came to fix it. Our mid-week clean was a simple case of emptying the bins and a change of towels. The bed linen was not changed as promised in the advert! The pool was not heated as advertised and even in July not really warm enough for enjoyable use. It was maintained once during the week but that did not get rid of the layer of sand and grit in the bottom of the pool. The Jacuzzi was not working, the switch had been pulled out. Many of the external lights around the patio were either not working or broken (held together with insulation tape!)Wired internet is NOT available in the 'hotel rooms' as advertised although wifi is available downstairs outside reception, 2 teenagers not impressed by that one!The beds were so uncomfortable that after 3 nights of little or no sleep we resorted to putting the sunbed cushions on top of the mattress to give a little more padding. The pillows were so thin they were not worth bothering with.The outside dining chairs did not have any cushions so sitting on them in shorts proved very uncomfortable, folded towels to the rescue! However the sunbeds were good!
Review 18：Quiet, peaceful location, easy walking distance to the harbour with a few shops and restaurants. The availability of a private pool was lovely. However it was not heated as advised. Lots of storage and reasonably furnished inside.

Quiet location, near to restaurants but a bit of a climb back up from the marina area. No beach but 10 minute drive from beach at Los Pocillos, which is much quieter than Puerto del Carmen.
Review 34：No air conditioning/ fan, heat unbearable in excess 40 degrees Celsius, with high humidity. Linen not changed during week as agreed, pool not very clean, Bathing facilities good but no storage space in bathrooms for toiletries,no welcome pack, we arrived after 8 pm, no water/ milk/oj/bread available until following day.
