Hotel Gran Sol sells fast on our site. Set 330 ft from Caló d’es Moro Beach in San Antonio, the Gran Sol Hotel has a large swimming pool with a sun terrace and snack bar.
All rooms at the Gran Sol feature a balcony, air conditioning and satellite TV. They also have a private bathroom complete with hairdryer.
The hotel has tennis and ping-pong facilities available as well as pool tables. The grounds offer an area in which guests can relax or sunbathe.

The hotel was spotless and showed great attention to detail. I cannot understand why this hotel is still rated 3 stars as it is clearly a 4 star hotel!!

Everything about the hotel is great including the excellent range of food available at breakfast and dinner as they have thought of everything, there is so much variety. My friend and I are looking to book again for next year, our third time at the hotel!

Review 21：Nothing re the hotel (although our view did overlook a petrol station!) but we didn't like San Antonio. Only stayed one night to go to Cafe del Mar (which was great) but sadly the town isn't nice. Where the Gran Sol is is definitely the best part however.

Review 22：The staff and the way the hotel is set up is really customer focussed. They were really friendly and helpful with questions and requests. On the day we checked out, we weren't flying home until late, and they accommodate this situation really well. They have lockers large enough for suitcases that you lock like a safe, and the have showers, fresh towels and toiletries all for free so you can freshen up. Fantastic service, especially when it's not a costly hotel.

Review 29：awful staff - confrontational, wouldn't return my passport for 45 minutes (?!) - how long does it take to make a photocopy (?!). Check-in woman very rude and also pretended not to speak english then suddenly spoke perfect english while trying to sell me more nights (?!!). Room didn't smell fresh. Looks out over an abandoned lot and a gas station. Far from everything.

Review 39：The hotel is very new and has everything you need. They sell 5 liters of water at the reception so you don't have to carry a heavy bottle of water from a supermarket. Also as a solo traveler this was the best choice ever. The room I stayed was a normal double room but the price was cheaper.

However, we had a room right by the lift and it was a little noisy-especially late at night and early in the mornings. If/when we stay again we would simply request a room away from the lift and I'm sure the hotel would accommodate.

The staff is always nice and respectful even though they have to deal with some difficult clientele being in San Antonio. Review 48：I stayed here with 4 friends all aged 30 yrs old. We found this hotel excellent place to stay. It is right beside cafe mambo (about 3 min walk) and about 10 min walk from the west end. Excellent location. Staff are very friendly and excellent service. Rooms are very clean and towels changed daily.food is nice in the hotel or there is nice restaurants around to go to.free safety deposit box and air conditioning. Recommend this hotel for groups or couples or families who want a good location but don't want a noisey hotel or mad pool area. Very chilled out atmosphere.

Location was excellent only 7 min walk along the coast walkway to the sunset strip but a quiet hotel. 3 Swimming pools were great and you never had to look far for a bed. Grassy area was immaculate. Breakfast was amazing, so much to choice from! Drink at the bar was cheap and the food was lovely!

Well organised for check out procedures with separate lockers and showers etc. I was on room only and paid €12 for dinner there on my last night, plenty to choose from and really tasty, wish I'd done half board! Location great as 3 min walk to watch the sunset on the beach or at Cafe del Mar.

Review 61：Location is absolutely superb with close amenities. Shops are within 20 metres with some really nice breakfast cafe's around too. Take a nice walk down the beach to Cafe Mambo - the beautiful Ibiza sunset. Here you can get in to San An quickly and find bars, restaurants and the rest. Hotel itself was spot on, a nice mix of guests which made for it to be not to "mental" which is good. We sunbathed outside with a little speaker on but everyone was very respecting. Staff were fantastic, all service was with a big smile on the face and everyone is willing to try and help you wherever they can. My girlfriend lost an expensive necklace in the room, only to realise once we had checked out on our last day. They asked for details to send it back and although she gave the details, we were skeptical about getting it back. 2 days later, my girlfriend had an email to say that they had found it and they would post it back free of charge. What service is that, couldn't possibly be better :) 100% recommend.

Review 64：Loved everything about this place. The little touches before we had even arrived...an email with useful information for arrival. Every staff member was professional and friendly. The room was perfect, clean and comfy. There was a lovely selection of food and the pool area was ideal with plenty of loungers and space. Location was perfect, a short walk to all of the main bars and clubs, some nice chill bars only a few seconds away, but hotel was still quiet and relaxed.

Review 66：I liked that the hotel was close enough to Mambo cafe and cafe del Mar, also 15 min by walk to bus station where you can get bus to any club or to Ibiza town for only 2 Euros. It was very quite hotel not for party people but for someone who want to sleep as well during the night. I loved breakfast and dinner, so delicious and so many options of food, really nice. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and large balcony enabled me to work out in the morning. People working at the hotel were all really friendly and helpful, spoke good english and create family like atmosphere. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who like to see Ibiza but doesn't want to stay in the place full of drunk party people.

Review 77：I've stayed several times at this hotel and WiFi has never worked reliably in the rooms. Even during the low season it was completely unusable. On every occasion I needed access I had to use the coin operated public computers downstairs --a less than ideal situation.

Review 80：We booked a couple of nights here last minute in October. We meant to stay one night, but enjoyed the hotel so stayed 3 nights. As it was end of season there was a nice discount. The hotel was quite modern, mostly excellent staff, nice clean sizeable rooms, great breakfast and the evening buffet was lovely. The bar did a very nice sangria too. The sea and Cafe del Mar / Mambo were a short walk away, the main strip a little further.

Review 82：Within San Antonio, it was less than 300yds from the coast, 5min walk from Cafe Del Mar and the Sunset Strip and a 10min walk from the marina & bars of San Antonio yet far enough away to be very quiet at night time. Private feeling inside around the pool. Good food and drinks choices to suit all tastes. Room was clean, large and modern and all our room (and most others) ha a great view. Some may have even caught the sunset on the other side. Wifi (free!) reception was very good in Reception area, room (6th floor) and around the pool. Friendly staff only too happy to help. Most speaking English Spanish and some German. Excellent holiday. Would definately return again.

All in all Gran Sol is perfectfor those who want some rest and relaxation and not looking for anythingtoo luxurious! The pool area is spacious and always loungers available.

Review 121：Swimming pool and solarium area was good size and during our short stay always plenty of beds available. Also has a relaxing outdoor jacuzzi. Breakfast meals were plentiful and they serve real british bacon and choice of fried and scrambled eggs. Very nice bar serving great cocktails. Upon checkout our flight wasn't until 9pm but we were able to keep our luggage secure in a locker and also had the use of a shower and towel for free which we greatly appreciated after trekking around the old town in 34 degree heat!! Would stay here again. Reception staff are very informative and organised club tickets for us to see Ellie Goulding at Ushuaiwa which was brilliant.

Nice pool area & cheap drinks / snacks at the pool bar. Also very friendly & efficient staff & good value for money for Ibiza! If you want to visit Ibiza Town or Playa D'En Bossa both are only a 30 Euro taxi drive so you are never that far from anything.

Review 124：2/8 of us on a girls Holiday stayed at the Gran Sol on a room only basis for 1 week at end of July. We couldn't fault much with this hotel, maybe not suitable for groups of young people as we were told one night to keep the noise down. Although we liked how quiet the hotel was. Wifi was Slightly tempromental se Days but when it's free you can't Complain. Towels & beds changed and room cleaned everyday. All in all excellent hotel, lovely, helpful & very polite staff. I would 100% recommend and return to the Gran Sol.

I arrived 1 day before mycheck-in and was kindly let to leave my belongings at the luggagestorage room (nice ones - with spacious electronic lockers), take ashower etc. Staff at the reception speak english fluently (or r theyfrom uk?), everybody is friendly and willing to help. And all this - atthe time of my booking - was for almost the lowest price at bookking(single accomodation, 1 week prior to check-in, end of July 2014) Willsdtrongly recommend this hotel to anybody!
