Review 16：the quirkiness, the hospitality, the personal feel of the place - staying there was like being part of a family. They actually care about every guest. And it's scrupulously well managed, keeping its warmth while offering top class service in an enviable garden setting.

Review 22：The breakfast is good and simple but we would make a suggestion to add fruit and vegetables. They make the whole look more rich and the local fruits and vegetables are very cheap.

Review 23：The staff was very friendly and helpful! This family-run hotel is very hospitable and we could also pay at the end of the holiday which made the arrival very smooth and easy. Most of the staff speaks English and one lady speaks Russian. One street away is a great pizzeria that we highly recommend, the food is excellent and the price is perfect. Every day they brought fresh towels and they also clean the room every day. The air-conditioning works great as well and all rooms have a balcony. After 0:00 the hotel closes but you get the keys and you can enter the main gate and doors during the night. The breakfast costs 8.50 every day and consists of bread, spanish jamon, cheese, orange juice, tea or coffee, cereals and fried eggs. If you want some more of something you can ask and they bring it and not charge an additional fee. The patio is in the shade until noon and has a lot of nice flowers. Parasols and the beach mats are available for free for the guests in the lobby to bring to the beach. We managed to rent bikes for a day and started the tradition in Hotel Mitus to set up a bike-rent system. The beach is very near and there are many beach bars that sell nice cocktails. We also recommend beach bar 'La lluna,' we had to look for it and when you walk from the Hotel to the boulevard you continue to walk to the left and you can either walk along the seaside past the empty scary building and petrol station. The staff of this bar very friendly and their food is simple but the atmosphere is very relaxed. The beaches are very clean and the people are calm and most of the people are middle-aged. Definitely check out the town Mataró, there are many nice shops (including ZARA) that have their sales and sell for very cheap. We bought much more here than in Barcelona.

Trains, which are next to the door, You can't hear them at all. Beach 50 meters from the hotel. Small walking street with restaurants 5 minutes by foot. Excellent!!!

Review 28：We traveled here for one day in June 2013. It was simple, clean and comfortable. Very close to the beach and some great restaurants. It was about a 45 minute train ride from Barcelona. Only a short walk from the hotel to the train station. I wish we had more time.

Review 29：We visited out of season but parking nearby was not easy. We found it difficult to find something to eat nearby other than Pizza.

Review 37：Friendly family hotel. The hotel with the spirit of antiquity. Breakfast in a cozy courtyard. To the beach 2 minutes walk. Beach clean. Trains do not interfere. Prior to the railway station 5 minutes walk. A city in art Nouveau style. On Saturday nights sardanes on the walking street. The atmosphere of a typical Spanish town. I recommend it for fans of quiet rest. If you want you can easily get to Barcelona by train.

Review 40：Was not given a double room for single use as per my booking conditions but a very small single room on the ground floor w/a little window giving onto the backyard w/breakfast tables in a 50 cm distance from the windowsill. So, no fresh morning air for me. This same backyard, in the final night of my stay, hosted a very loud party well after midnight. Couldn't feel any closer to these lovely people if they were in the same bed with me. The AC remote is nailed to the wall. Dampness is staggering, no ventilation in the bathroom=swimwear feels perpetually moldy

Review 43：Hotel Mitus is an excellent small hotel. We stayed here for a week in June 2012 and found it to be a little gem. The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. The rooms were quite adequate being clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has character and is very welcoming even late at night when it is well lit up with (battery) candles on the tables on the front and rear areas. The rear walled garden area was a wonderful setting for our breakfast each morning and our last drinks of the day when we returned late at night. The breakfast was very good. Hotel Mitus is a few hundred yards from the railway station and it was a perfect base for exploring this bit of the coast, and Barcelona, by train. The hotel is just a few yards from the beach and wide promenade. It is a very peaceful hotel, away from any noise.
