Review 1：Restaurant not open in winter and it's a bit far to walk into town. Breakfast buffet badly arranged as too many tables and chairs to get past to reach it. Very noisy. But could be because it was full of guests from a car rally, hence everyone eating at once.

Review 2：Attractive modem decor and attentive staff. So close to the sea and coastal walks. Beautiful pool but too cold to swim.

Review 5：Cadaqués is beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was perfect. away from the town centre so nice and quiet. With a scenic walk to get to town when we wanted to. And the food was fantastic!

Review 6：The location allowed us to access the coastal trail that we could follow along indefinitely. There was fun snorkeling in a nearby cove. Also the staff were so welcoming and helpful.

Review 7：My only suggestion would be to have some kind of transportation available for early morning travelers. We (three women) had to walk two miles with our luggage at 6am on a somewhat dirt road without good light. The night staff told us we were brave; we simply felt we did not have an alternative!

Review 8：The location could not have been better; perched on the hill side over looking the sea!!!! Beautiful. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The staff was friendly, engaging and helpful. The Gala restaurant was amazing; awesome food and the wait staff, especially Marco were great! We will definitely return.

Review 11：Hotel is located outside of the main town, but it's an easy drive+walk. The rooms are good and clean, but rather basic. The hotel makes up for this with the pool views and wonderful facilities.

Review 13：The rooms are sub-par: no refrigerator, terrible wi-fi connection throughout property, and separating two beds meant that our heads were pressed against the night tables. There's no porter to help with bags; you have to cart them yourself. Sadly the property is on the outskirts of town, so either you have to drive in (and deal with parking) or pay each way to take a taxi, which gets costly and takes a long time. We waited 40+ minutes for one shuttle, when we were told it would only take 12 minutes to arrive.

Review 15：The only problem i had is fixed now. On arrival wifi was only in the public areas. It's not in the rooms and it's much faster. Should have come a week later. It's a good location but i could wish the walk to town was a bit shorter.

Review 18：A beautiful boutique hotel in a very quite place. It is located about 1.5 km from the centre but for those who do not like crowded places, this location is perfect. The garden is very well kept and the atmosphere is relaxing. Rooms with pool or sea view are recommended. Both the room and the bathroom are very clean and pleasant. Staff is friendly and helpful and always smiling! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the hotel.

Review 19：Not truly a bad experience as such, only the need to walk a bit anwhere (15-20 min into town) or having to pre organize the transport from the Hotel in particular after dark, easily done though! WI-Fi connection in the room was somewhat weak.

Review 34：Hote restaurant serves and excellent breakfast buffet (included) however there were no snack vending machines, and should you wish to lunch or dine at the hotel during the time of my stay, arrangements needed to be made in advance. Give necessary preplanning food options could be a challenge at night and may require outside delivery options or a drive/walk to the center for options.

The staff was very courteous, the room was well appointed, clean and comfortable with a balcony offering a nice relaxing view of the seaside for sunrise, sunset or the beautiful moonlight that hit the water at night.

When you ask for ice they offer you a small glass of ice at the reception, good luck to carry it to your room. There is always a pool, which is unheated and ice cold. Poor substitution for ice though. Endless corridors to walk to your room. Too far from downtown, exhausting one hour walk every day back and forth.

Review 46：My OH got quite badly bitten by mosquitoes as he liked to sit outside very early in the morning. Unusually, they didn't seem to bother with me! I found the WIFI to be terrible and gave up after a day - it was excruciatingly slow and when I did manage to connect I kept having to sign in all the time.

Review 47：The accommodation at this hotel is a bit basic but very clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was functional, although the extractor fan was quite noisy and the shower head kept sliding down, which was a bit annoying. Each room has a little terrace or balcony with table and chairs so you can sit outside. The garden was very pretty and the pool was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel is quite close to the sea so you can lie by the pool and hear the waves crashing onshore (the sea can be quite rough around this area). The breakfast was plentiful and varied. We especially liked the little cakes! This hotel is quite far from the centre of Cadaques and it takes abut 20 minutes or so to walk to town. We found two main routes - one through the streets, giving us a chance to admire the beautiful houses, the other a coastal path which can be a little nerve-wracking at times but gives gorgeous views of the coastline.

Review 57：Just a bit too far from the centre of Cadaques - a 20 minute or so walk. At night part of the road from Cadaques is unlit but it was easy enough to drive in and park for free. The hotel did not have a spanish atmosphere.

Review 58：This is a very good three star hotel.It was very clean and the rooms were bright and spacious. The wifi was reliable. Secure car parking and a good sized swimming pool added to its attraction. The restaurant served a very good dinner menu which was better than anywhere else I ate.There was an excellent choice of food, both cooked and uncooked for breakfast. All staff were very helpful and informative. The hotel was convenient for Dali's house - a twenty minute walk.

Review 59：For some reason we didn't sleep very well, even though the room was large enough, big comfortable bed, air conditioned (low setting was almost soundless) and quiet. The hotel was about 20 minutes walk from Cadaques, which we didn't really mind because it kept the hotel quiet. Wi-fi was available, but certainly didn't work in our room.

We loved the thoughtful quality of the simple aesthetics the hotel has. We loved how quiet it is. We loved our view of the ocean and hotel grounds. We loved how comfortable the bed is. We loved the breakfast. And, perhaps, most amazing, was the dinner we had here. The chef is the son of the owners and has impeccable culinary credentials. The perfectly seared tuna was among the best we ever had!

Review 124：Sol Ixent is a really great hotel if you want a peaceful hotel, close to nature, nice and serviceminded staff and really good breakfast. Our room had sea- and poolwiev and in the morning sun set right to your bed. Fantastic. Even dinner was really value.

Review 125：- hotel rooms on the small side - terrible industrial coffee served at breakfast: i ordered an espresso and was charged for it. a hotel of this calibre should be offering guests a decent cup of coffee ! - no umbrellas to provide shade around the pool on the day we arrived; other guests had hauled lounge chairs under the trees but we had no choice but to sit under full sun as all shade taken (we did notice umbrellas out the next day ???)
