Review 1：We booked in for two nights, and after the first night, left our keys in reception to go out for the day. On our return mid-afternoon we were told by the receptionist that she thought we had left the hotel without paying. We felt like criminals. She further stated that the credit card used to secure the booking had been debited already for our first night stay, without any checking of the invoice or any authorisation by me. Surely a check our room which had suitcases, passports, etc, in the room would have shown we had not left the hotel. We received no apology for any of this.
Review 2：The hotel is situated high above the lake and main road and a car is essential. Once there with a car, parking is inadequate and usually requires a steep walk to the hotel from wherever you can park the car.
Review 3：Second visit shows there are some areas they need to improve and fine-tune. Service and consistent level of food quality are some areas starting to show weakness. Better training and notice to details should fix this if they desire to maintain the hotel level.
Review 4：Location is amazing, with views of the lake, private hotel, great cocktail area overlooking the lake outside. Overall the place makes you feel like a king for a day, and I love staying 1 or 2 nights to get away from life.

Review 11：We booked the hotel as we see pictures from booking.com. There were bedroom and separated living room so that I can work and conference in another room without disturbing my wife. I personally emailed the hotel to confirm the room but there were no reply. So we arrived at the hotel, great view, quiet spot over looking the lake. The problem is the room that we saw was taken but someone who directly booked with the hotel. This is the third time I've heard this comment from the hotel: priority is to those who booked with the hotel, not via booking.com. Even though the pictures were shown in the website. So we ended up in a single room, paying 255Euro, and having my grumpy wife the next morning. Wasn't an ideal trip and a wise way to spend money. Totally disappointed. And there were funny noise like water running in a pipe on the wall on our head everytime the next-door flushed the toilet. It happened until 2am. Absolutely nightmare! p.s. They said they have sent us an email to say the specific room wasn't available. But I've seen no emails, including junk mail (that's how I found out the next hotel we were going is overbooked. The hotel email us with no subject and it got caught in the junk mail. Booking.com wasn't aware of the overbooking and we have to relocated!!)

Review 13：Warm welcome & great service - even for our late check-in around 1am (plane delayed). Location - perfect for the Tegensee area. Food - better venison than the specialist game restaurant. Room - the stunning lake views and the simple yet high quality decor made this a relaxing and warm room
