Review 1：Unfortunately our stay was in November and paid more to stay here thinking it was a spa hotel but I don't think an outside pool across the road with 1 jet of water going into it(not heated) constitutes a spa hotel, terrible value.

Review 6：The bed was to small and poor cover. No comfy seat in the room. There has been a smoker in the room and for our stay of 4 days that smell was there.

Review 9：We stayed in a mini suite which was superb and wonderful views over the sea. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were great and the advantage of having a car park even though it was 3 euros a day was a bonus The staff were all very helpful. Guardamar is a wonderful resort to stay in.

Review 14：I think the only thing I woul say is that there needs to be a bit of variety on the cooked breakfast. When you are there for more than five days you get fed up of scrambled egg every single day. It would have been good to have the choice of an omelet/fried/poached egg for a change. Also the resturant staff could have been a bit more welcoming.

Review 15：The hotel was very clean. The beds were made every morning & the rooms were cleaned. The staff were friendly & very helpful. The food in the resturant was absolutely fabulous & to high standards. Over all we really enjoyed our stay & will return to this hotel in the future.

Review 16：Bar service was slow and not at all friendly...he served me out of turn and I had to wait while someone pushed in...spoilt my experience. Also room 103 is very noisy.

Review 20：Located in quieter side of town, almost on top of a fabulous beach. Perfect weather! Breakfast was ok, didnt eat other meals here. Room had everything that was needed and quite happy with it all.

Review 21：Resturant was over priced and very poor. I sent my main meal back and did not want anything else as it took ages to be served. We had a junior suite which was quite basic and a central bathroom with a non working extractor .

Review 23：The walls are paper thin between the rooms. our room had an adjoining door to the room next door and you could see light through the edge and without exaggeration, you could hear the people next door breathing. when they coughed in the night it was like they were in bed with you !!

Review 34：No kettle but I brought one from home. I am disabled and have to rest up sometimes, have bad nights I need to make a drink when I wAnt.

Review 35：The fridge in my room, a safe in my room loved the sea view, the staff were fantastic catered for my gluten free diet. Helpful with language for us when we crashed hire car. Fantastic.

Review 36：They have a bar on the roof which plays loud music of an evening, which is a shame as this can be clearly heard if your room is on the 4th floor.

Review 38：Rooms too basic - no kettle - we went with a baby and I had no kettle at all. Even though I had requested a cot - it wasn't it the room and the. We had to pay extra 7 euros per night for the cot which we weren't expecting. There was only 1 small pillow - we had to ask for more and we're give a cushion. Reception staff were not very helpful or smiley . Overall had an ok stay but there is no way on earth this hotel is a 4*! It is a 3* at the very most!

Stainless steel basin in bathroom, more akin to a kitchen sink ! not as the ceramic one in the promotional photos, and definitely not suitable for a 4 star hotel Dining room full, so that we had to sit in the smoking area for breakfast and we are non smokers
