Review 1：The rooms were a bit basic and showers a bit rubbish, but what do u expect from a hostal that cheap. Still I had a flat screen and balcony so could have been worse.

Review 2：The pool area is well above the level of somewhere classed as a hostal. I've stayed in hotels with worse pool areas. And to be honest I beats a lot of the cheap and cheerful places in San an. Pikey park Marco Polo and it also trumps Ibiza rocks on a lot of fronts.

Review 3：I was in room 103. Which had a heavy metal rock bar directly underneath. Most nights I was out so didn't bother me but the one night I got an early night music was blaring until 5am.

Review 4：My room was basic, functional and clean. It's own balcony which was a surprise. The hotel swimming pool and sun lounger terrace is fantastic, playing laid back beach house. The restaurant offered cheap/cheerful bites to eat and are very accommodating.

Review 5：The room was very unclean the duvet covers were stained & looked very old. I don't think they'd cleaned from the last person. They didn't come in & clean at all the whole time I was there.

Review 7：The room was disgustingly dirty. Long black hairs all over the floor. It clearly hadn't been cleaned properly following the previous guests. There was also black slime the shower hose and dirty marks on the walls. The air conditioning barely worked so the room was hot and humid. We could also feel all of the bed springs through the cheap,worn out mattresses. Not a place to get a comfortable nights sleep. I booked this place and felt I'd massively let my girlfriend down. She hated it - almost spoiled the holiday.

They give you soap and shower gel only on your check in day.After the first day you have to buy! The WiFi connection was stacking.

Review 18：The air conditioning is akin to an old lady whistling through a grate and was insufficient to cool a room of 4 men however between two it might suffice! I must, in fairness, say that we spent little time in the room so sleep tended to be the only time the aircon was an issue, also some rooms have balconies some dont, luck of the draw!

Review 21：We stayed a de lux appartman and we were satisfied with the price/value. Air condition works, the room is cleaned every day, there is a fridge with freeze so our Bacardi was the on the suitable degrees. It was perfect. The location is close to the center but not so noisy.

Review 29：Rooms are very basic - no fridge or anything. Views are vile from the rooms. Beds were made by cleaners but sheets never changed. Wifi was rubbish throughout the hotel, free but could never get anything to load food was generally okay in the restaurant - could do with more staff in the day that poor woman spend the day non stop

Staffvery friendly, I was in room 114 and was so so noisey at night, but ifyour late back from partying then its not too bad. Met some russianfriends who I didn't get contact details from, would be nice to hearfrom them, they stayed in room 103.

Review 39：The staff are really helpful! The rooms are clean and tidy, fresh towels and bed linen regularly. Florencio itself is in a great location, not far from the west end, the beach or bus station. Food in the restaurant is good and cheap compared to places on the front.

Review 46：The staff were helpful when they discovered I couldn't sleep. They always had time to help and chat, even at 5am. The restaurant attached; the whole team were so lovely to me and my weird food requests. Polite, friendly and smiley. The room was comfortable. I was put on the 1st floor which, if you haven't come to party, isn't ideal; you can hear everything from people coming into the hostel to getting to their room, plus noise/music from the restaurant. However, on my last 3 nights, I was on a high floor which was so peaceful. My TV reception was better too! Clean pool (though I didn't use it). Walking distance to everything in San An. WiFi was good all over.

Review 54：Much to my surpirse I discovered that Hostal Florencio charged my first night twice. I immediately emailed them, providing proof of double charging, asking for a refund. A day later I reminded them by email. Almost a week later I still have niether reply, nor refund. Internet wifi-router is not really o.k., unless you sit underneath it in the corridor.

Review 59：Loved this place! The staff, rooms and location were perfect! It was just close enough to the west end to not have to walk far, but far enough away that you couldn't hear any noise at all. This should not be a hostel as it is just like a hotel, comes with maid service, towels provided, complimentary shampoo and soap. The food is very cheap too, 4 euro for a full English and 8.50 euro for a 3 course meal. We went self catering so we could eat where we wanted each night, but we ended up eating in the hostel a lot and it was nice to have the option to go where we wanted.
