Review 1：The location of the hotel is very good, you can walk 10 minutes to old city center. The room size is quite big.breakfast was very nice.the design of the hotel is amazing also.just behind the hotel, there are famous tapas bars and restaurants.

Review 2：I am with heavy luggage, so concierge service would be appreciated. It doesn't have a lobby for car drop off so nobody can see that I am a checking in guest.

Review 29：Most 5 star hotels offer basics at reception free of charge. I needed sanitary products outside of pharmacy hours and these were charged to the room, and quite expensive. Also no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which meant we had to order room service coffee. Again, very expensive.

Review 31：Most staff didn't speak much English, none of them broke a smile for the whole stay. Gym didn't have a running treadmill just few weights in a dark room. Further they didn't let me know that my room didn't have breakfast included and just billed me ~15 euros for a croissant and a coffee. Only 2 small lifts for the whole hotel makes for a lot of waiting. The hotel might have 5 stars but they need a change in attitude and facilities.

Review 37：The bedroom walls are too thin, we were on 4th floor overlooking the plaza and roundabout, and when we returned from our evening out, we could hear the family next door very clearly whilst we were in our bedroom with the doors closed, they were quite loud for about an hour. We could also hear toilet flushing from a room next door, or above.. The hotel should invest in soundproofing the room.

Review 45：The worst hotel experience in my life! I am a surgeon and an interntional traveller. After a long road trip arrived at the hotel only to find out that me my wife and my two teenager were oberbooked and relocated to a lesser area and class hotel.This however did not prevent the recepionist to provide with a room the six(6) consecutive arrivals who followed us!!! The recepionist having denied our ckeck in to us, had no shame or hesitation to give the keys to subsequent clients in front of us. After two hours of unprecedented unprofessionalism and a continous quarell and only after having threatened to bring in the police they allowed us in... Deplorable!!!

Excellent location: 50meters to a cafe aptly called Cafe & Tapas (I ate yummy rice with chicken in masala sauce); 100 meters to the metro lift (we had two suitcases); metro station is 2 stops away from the bus terminal (bus to San Sebastian); 10 mins' walk north to Guggenheim; 15 mins' walk to Old Town 5. Value for money for a 2 nights' stay in a 5 stars' hotel (we paid less than €300, incl. taxes & breakfast)

Review 69：We were offered a room on the 1st floor, a smoker's room. We asked for a different room and after much searching at reception we were finally given a non smoking room. Why on earth does a 5 star designate a customer a smoker room? Also the doorman (Porter?) watches customers with children negotiate the front door, without helping. Sorry but a 5 star location with 2 star service.

Review 108：I am evaluating this establishment on the basis that it claims to be 5 stars, and for the local market it is priced as such. - No one helped or offered to help me with my bags on arrival. - While the hotel architecture is beautiful, the interiors are very dated and in need of refurbishment or renovation - The bathrooms are in dire need of renovation. The tiles were old and stained. The cups they left in the bathroom were wrapped in cheap plastic and were not clean. The plumbing requires work - The breakfast buffet was sub-par, had few options that were fresh, and the scrambled eggs tasted like they were reheated from the day before. The plates were old, scratched and did not give you any confidence in their cleanliness. - Pretty much everything in the hotel does not hold up to close scrutiny whether its glasses, the carpet, the furniture...etc. - The WiFi is completely useless. Do not count on it if you require internet during your stay. If you are staying here then you must arrange for a roaming data plan on your cell phone if you want internet access.
