Review 1：the room had a musty smell and floor tiles were cracked in the bedroom and bathroom. The ceiling light was uncovered showing bare wires and only one bulb instead of two. The second night there I pressed the switch to put on the light in the middle of the night and it went bang. We were afraid of a fire so the shock and fear meant we hardly slept; An electric socket next to the bed had the plastic cover broken so that fingers could get behind the cover. We were afraid to plug in the air conditioning for heating in case that went bang too. The plastic tray below the mirror in the bathroom was covered in cigarette burns and the toilet brush was in a disgusting state. We have stayed in many hotels in Spain at this price and found them good but this place was disgraceful. You are doing tourists a grave disservice by advertising this place as I believe it is a potential death trap. I complained to the owner but he showed no concern at all.

Review 5：we came late at night, and the door was closed. there was my booking printout on the door with telephone number to call, but noone answered the phone. so we had no place to sleep in the middle of the night. there were free places in other hotels in the locality, so two of us slept in the car and other two on the ground. when we came next day, personal said that phone didn't work that night, and they apoligize. they didn't speak the word of english, so make sure you have google translate ready if you want to communicate with the host. so be careful with late arrivals )

Review 8：Hostal Loimar is a sound, value for money small hotel. It is situated right in the heart of Torre del Mar. Whist it is plenty basic in its offerings - it is clean with helpful staff and good sized rooms.
Review 9：in the room feel cigarettes; cleanliness in the room was average, dirty floor, in the bathroom after taking a shower water on the whole floor , without rubber flip-flops is better not to enter; little space, no table to do eg sandwiches, wifi just downstairs!! we had a room in the 3rd floor...

Comfortable bed, nice service; I would recommend to people, without excessive demands - just for leave things, sleep and take a shower, for example. to group of friends, a family with children is not recommendable - too little space, no table to prepare anything, even sandwiches

Review 16：Nice simple hostal. (which means guesthouse or pension, not hostel in English. We felt welcome and used the bar and restaurant some me our meals. Really good fish, try the boquerones fritos, fried whitebait. My elderly mother and Istayed for five days and enjoyed every minute. It isn't a de luxe place, but we like it simple and clean. Our room had a balconythat we used for breakfast or a snack. Very good location near beach and bus station in a calm street.
