Hotel Miramonte sells fast on our site. Situated at the foot of the Graukogel Mountain and only an 8-minute walk from the centre of Bad Gastein, Hotel Miramonte enjoys a unique location overlooking the entire Gastein Valley. The sun terrace offers panoramic mountain views.
The Miramonte Aveda Spa provides professional massages, a thermal spring, and a hot tub. Guests can also relax in the panoramic sauna and in the large relaxation room overlooking the mountains. Yoga lessons and guided mountain tours are offered several times a week.
All of the individually designed rooms feature large balconies with valley views, flat-screen satellite TVs, and a bathroom. WiFi access is free of charge in the entire hotel.
The rich breakfast buffet and a breakfast for late risers are served in the dining room. The Miramonte’s restaurant serves light and innovative Slow Food cuisine in the evening. Guests can also have a glass of wine at the bar or try the homemade beer.

Review 1：there really was nothing to complain about. The bathroom waits for a renovation. But it had everything you need and everything was well functioning and in a way had it's 80ies charm also.

Review 2：Great Hotel, very Special ambiance thanks to carefully renovation combining original elements of the time with cool contemporary and retro elements. Staff was amazingly nice helpful and laid back so you could get comfortable easily. We got in a little after the kitchen officially closed but the chef was flexible enough to serve us a great meal before shutting down. A highlight definitely was the cool bar/ lounge area with zoran an amazing bartender. Location also is great with a spectacular view.

Review 10：I booked a large double room and was given a small double, queried with the front desk and they moved me to the right room after they originally told me they had no spare rooms. No wifi in rooms to ensure guests can "unwind and switch off", but then they hoover outside your room at 8am?

Review 12：Hotel is nicely designed. It's beautifull, fresh and very clean. We were happily surprised about the breakfast. It was super: wide selection of cheese, meat, tea, coffee, fruites, cereals, vegetables, youghurt and even gluten free bread..etc. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Great place!

Review 13：The Spa had no pool, only thermalbath for one person. And they had pickup service for free, but the driver was not there when he was suppose to bee there and then you had to pay for taxi.

Review 33：Had such a wonderful stay at Miranonte! The food was excellent. Lots of healthy breakfast choices and it was like having dinner in a star restaurant. The staff was very kind and helpful. In te evening you can relax in the nicely decorated lobby, enjoying a glass of wine or take a yoga class ( make sure you sign up early, the classes are quikly full). The interior of the hotel is a very nice change to the usual austrian hotels, the rooms are a little small, but not bothering. I have never felt so relaxed after a ski trip. Conclussion: AMAZING hotel.

The spa facilities are great but it can bedifficult to get a slot for specialist treatments as it does get busy,so pre-book if you can. The hotel has a great bar and dinner servicethat was reasonably priced.

Review 47：First of all the staff was fantastic, highly service minded. My partner had an accident the last day of our stay and had to have a surgery. I stayed for an extra day and there was no problem, I kept the same room and they only charged med for single person. They arranged a dinner after restaurant closing hours and they let me borrow they computer as I had to work for 2 hours. And in the morning they parked my car so I only needed to jump in it and drive a way. They took care of me - and Im grateful. Everyone was kind and attentive. As for the hotel, the view from the hotel is beautiful. You can sign up for pick up every morning and afternoon to ski lope. There is complimentary soup and five different kind of cakes in the afternoon. The room was nice, warm and clean. The bed was comfortable.

Review 48：The breakfast could start a bit earlier, considering that many guests wanted to head out to ski early. The remodelling of the rooms could have been done with better care, for example the ceiling in the bathroom.

Review 52：I absolutely didn't love the staff. First of all, almost all of themhave problems with understanding English. Second point is that almostall of them are unhelpful and not client oriented at all. As all hotelinformation is in German you simply forced to talk to them. Please note,that spa is - I guess- enigma, cause it's a problem to have anappointment. For example you could have a facial only if another guestwill join you because the staff is outsourced. There is only oneinternal staff for body treatments so the spa is always booked. I adviseyou to make an appointment in the spa at the moment of booking. Irecomend you to go to Alpentherme in Gastein to have all treatments.It could be a problem to have a taxi - we have missed our train because there was no taxi available and the receptionist didn't even call for it when we asked. Do not expect that staff will give you a hint that there might be a problem with booking a taxi. Please note that balcony in superior room is common balcony. There are no deposit box and no minibar in rooms. Bathroom looks outdated. And there is no aircon!

Review 53：As a plus I could mention great breakfast, free soup for lunch andreally money-to-cost dinner - 20 euro for buffet salads and 3 coursemeal. Wi-Fi worked properly. Location is nice, the view from panoramicrooms is wonderful. The design of the hotel is also very nice.Bad Gastein in a lovely place even you are not snowboarding.

Review 54：Car parking a bit of a scramble on busy days, so some creative parking may be required. Shower baths in our room were unusually awkward and slippery to access. Charged higher weekend rate for Thursday night.
