Review 1：There were a lot of corporates about, speaking in loud voices, booking up the restaurant and brasserie and spoiling the tranquility and peacefulness of the place. Their brash voices spoken in loud volumes did not go with the beauty of the place at all.

Review 2：The location, facilities and breakfasts were all outstanding. The staff were courteous, helpful and very friendly.

Review 3：We checked in on my birthday and have been given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a lovely window spot in the restsurant for a dinner afterwards. Spa and pool area are incredible!! Best breakfast buffet ever!

Review 4：- charge extra for parking - tried to charge extra for late check out without warning (100eur) while we were in spa. Refused and called manager, which was rather unfriendly and claimed we asked for late check out and got refused (which was honestly not us) - did difficult to use spa facilities on day of check out after having 2 massages (ie on a Sunday when you come Saturday eve to Sunday...)

Review 5：No lift in some of the buildings, not suitable for disabled people. I booked a double bed room for 2 and wanted to add a bed in the same room for 60 euros as it says on the site, but when arrived the hotel the reception staff told me that they can't add an extra bed in the room! This is so disappointing because as it's mentioned when I booked that all the rooms have enough space to add an extra bed! In the end they gave me a single room for the third person that costs alot than adding an extra bed in the double room.

Review 9：First I will say that I did not have a bad experience, but theatmosphere was at times a little uptight for the typical travellerbecause of the upper class crowd. I don't think there is anything todo about that and is probably just a reflection of the visitors at thetime or your visit. This may even be what the hotel intends to create. Review 18：The staff at Das Tegernsee are the epitome of Bavarian hospitality and friendliness. The room we stayed in had a view of the lake and surrounding alps, was sleek, modern, comfortable and immaculate. We took advantage of the complimentary mountain bikes to cycle around the lake and to nearby Walbergbahn. My wife and I would return without question - breakfasts and dinners were excellent as well - we loved the beergarten too!

Review 19：The staff has been friendly, very kind and supportive. The SPA/Wellness area is absolutely outstanding, with an indoor/outdoor pool, a sun terrace, many relax areas with the breathtaking sight of the Tegernsee and a beautiful, although little, sauna. The classic Restaurant was nice and the food very good. Enjoyable also the Breakfast on the terrace.

Review 21：The hotel is wonderfully located with breathtaking view of the lake and minutes from the bus and train station with direct connection to Munich. Staying at the hotel was a real treat , the staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us welcome. All in all one of the best vacations we had.

Review 22：For the price they should offer air conditioning in the room. We wouldn't have minded leaving our door and windows open but the people below us and next to us were chain smokers and the smell of their smoke was nauseating and overpowering in our room.

The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake. Our only regret was not spending more time in this lovely hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, so thank you to the team for their wonderful hospitality.

Review 64：Although we were the only British people staying at the hotel I think that any international hotel should have at least one English speaking channel on the TV. There are many other nationalities who are not British but have English as their common language but do not speak German One other point was that when we arrived at 7 in the evening after a ten hour drive from Paris we were told by the inexperienced evening desk staff that there was no space in the dining room for us to have dinner, although there clearly was.
