Review 1：Television did not work and no one to contact to rectify Inability to make a hot drink in evening, no facilities in room and no access to communal area
Review 2：The style and ambience was classy and relaxing. The staff were brilliant, so very helpful. I loved the location - around the corner from the pedestrian shopping streets with post office, one block from the train station and 5 minute walk to the beach front.

Review 5：The staff was not at all service minded or helpful during our stay at Hotel Plesner. During an afternoon we went to the restaurant downstairs and two waitresses chatted with each other for an hour while we sat there, without even asking us if we wanted something to eat or drink. Generally the staff had no idea about what to do in the city. The rooms were noisy and hot, ventillation in the bathroom was broken. The breakfast buffet is of poor/mediocre quality. While the house has it's charms it is nowhere near the quality and service to be expected from an establishment in this price range. Would not recommend to anyone.

I found it by accident and am glad of it .. really a fantastic little hotel and restaurant.. I loved my room in the two story building at the back .. the second floor room afforded a nice view of the rock garden
