Review 2：We stayed in this hotel August 2014 at the time of my son's wedding along with a lot of other wedding guests and like it then The breakfasts are excellent The wifi is much better now
Review 3：The breakfast is very traditional German, so almost all bread, meat, and cheese. There is a big of chopped vegetable and a bowl of fruit, but it would be great to have fresh fruit dishes or berries available.

Review 7：Booked air conditioned room for two nights, but they gave us a low quality room without air conditioning for first night. Then moved us to air conditioned room. Made too small of a financial adjustment.

Review 9：The Wi-Fi in our room had poor reception. However, the hotel lobby offers Wi-Fi with very good Internet speed. You can browse the Internet while sitting in a comfortable chair or use the office area also located in the lobby.
Review 10：This hotel is located very close to the historic merchant bridge. The staff was warm and welcoming, and spoke fluent English. The hotel's breakfast was bountiful - nothing skimped. The hotel's restaurant was a delight. Since the weather was superb for early April we dined outdoors and enjoyed a wonderful German meal with delicious food and great wait-service. Highly recommend this hotel.

Review 13：First room smelling of smoke despite no-smoking policy but this was quickly resolved and was not the hotel's fault. The lighting in the room was terrible - bedside lights on a springy pole which just drooped pathetically so impossible to read by and no overhead light at all.
Review 14：The receptionist was very helpful when we complained about our first room smelling of smoke and overlooking a road and happily switched us to a nicer room. Superb location right in the middle of Erfurt with very secure underground parking, delicious generous breakfast, free wifi and lobby computer.

Review 40：Wi-fi was VERY unreliable. Was fine in the lobby but constantly dropped out - weren't able to connect at all on the last day. Whilst we requested a non-smoking room it was apparent that there were smokers in the next room - which would have been fine if they remained in the room to smoke, but as they smoked on the balcony it meant we weren't able to open the window for some fresh air.
Review 41：Location is fantastic! All major sites of the old time were very close by (the bridge was within throwing distance). The room was spacious. Staff were very helpful with requests (cups of tea etc). Breakfast was fantastic!

Review 48：Even though it says that internet is available throughout the hotel, but staying on the 3rd floor in reality has no access at all. So, we need to go down to the lobby and the log-in process is quite complicated.
Review 49：The hotel is right next to the old town making it easy to stroll to the old town at any time. The restaurant serves very good food.
Review 50：Internet connectivity is poor. Reception was very bad at the first room I stayed, moving to another room didn't improve the situation. On top of that, each device has to log in separately, a procedure that has to be repeated every time the connection is established (ie, after returning to the room). The log-in codes only work for 24hs, so you have to keep asking the reception for new codes.
