Review 1：If you are not particularly fit it is a 15-20 minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of Platja d'Aro. Parking is 8€ a night, but there seems to be plenty of off-site parking nearby. Both these points are not complaints but just for information.

Review 2：The location and general feeling of space. it looks down onto a beautiful beach with wonderful sea views. The superior rooms are a good size with good beds and bright decor. There is also a kettle for tea and coffee. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the restaurant provided an excellent buffet breakfast and evening meal. The large comfortable lounge with an open log fire was an added bonus on a cool January evening. Would recommend.

Review 3：Position of the room. Had a sea view but room 401 was in a corner. Probably not the best situation. But having said that the room had all good facilities.

Review 11：Love this hotel, it's location is stunning. Hotel facilities are very good. The views from the room and the terrace are amazing. The breakfast is the best we've found. Dinner in the restaurant is very good. The town is only 20 min walk away, with so much to see and do, lots of shops, restaurants and bars. It was our third visit and we will go back.

Review 14：my husband is partially disabled; we were both struggling with bags, but there was no-one available to help; the disabled persons' lift was out of service, so we had to struggle with the stairs; this was not a good start to our visit

Review 16：the hotel has 5 types of room. When we booked there was only one type of room shown. Booking. Com should make clear that there were 4 other types of room. We were upgraded on arrival from a sea view room to a shore view room because we had stayed there before.

Review 33：Superb classy hotel on a cliff edge overlooking a beautiful beach and cove. We had a nice room with a veranda, sea view and with 2 loungers. Nice breakfast but usually a bit of a scrum. There is a nice terrace with sea view to sit out on and have a drink, and there is a beautiful but tricky coastal path into Platja D'Aro. Parking costs 8 euros per night though, and the set evening meal menu was 25 euros pp exc drinks.

Review 34：Food was a little pricey but it was the end of high season and lots of places were pricey. Had a little trouble finding the place so a suggestion would be, to be more concise with the directions.

Review 35：The staff were amazing there. Anytime we had questions, they had answers. The rooms were beautiful and the view was amazing (overlooked the pool and the beach). The breakfasts there were the best anywhere. The beach is to die for...rocky but refreshing. Walking to town was always an experience but go to the next town as their food selection is better. All in all I would highly recommend it.

Review 36：Rooms are hardly as clean as they should be for a hotel with this price level. The room is also very noisy, you can hear everything through the walls. The bathroom and toilet are ventilated by 2 small windows that face other rooms and most of the noise comes from there, so you basically have to choose between ventilating your bathroom \ toilet and letting more noise in the room or, at times, letting cigarette smoke in.

Review 37：The location is great. The hotel is situated on a cliff just above 2 beautiful beaches. The beaches are quiet and not crowded. Very close to the city. The pool area and outdoor sitting areas are very nice. Good breakfast. Complaints were attended quickly.

We could of spent a lot more money on wine if they had taken more notice of us and our empty glasses. We noticed others diners were waiting also, but again the food is wonderful so it all balanced out.

Review 61：We feel that the room was old and that obvious signs of maintenance are ignored like the toilet seat and roll holder that is loose or the balcony sliding door that doesn't open properly. Service is slow due to insufficient staff. Fridge wasnt really cold. We also saw flies on the breakfast meats every morning ! Too little staff is having negative effect. We always waited for long periods (15min) to get a drink outside. Not expected of a 4 star.

Review 110：Changed room twice as first we did not get a double bed as requested, then had a shoebox sized room ( not very clean) with a tiny double bed for the first night after being told they were all this small. However, after a discussion in he morning with reception a normal room with a double bed was given to us. staff very friendly throughout.

Review 115：Stayed for new year with our yorkie. Have stayed before so knew what to expect. Nice room with large outside terrace which our dog loved. Even a dog bowl and some treats waiting in room for him...Great setting and nothing was a problem. Used spa which was also very nice. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast brilliant.

The large pool was good for us as we like to swim a lot. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The one night we dined in the restaurant the food was good.
